Blood sugar issues/Blood work

My surgeon gives me the orders for my blood work anf I get it done at my local hospital and they fax the results to my surgeon.  I wished you lived closer as my PCP is very knowledgeabke about WLS. 

So if I just call Kane center and ask them to send me an order, I can pretty much go to the local hospital and have them draw my blood and fax it to them?  That would work too.
I wish I lived closer too!  just to hang out!  lol

My WLS is in Joliet and I live nearer to Kankakee (about a 45 min drive) .  He gave me my blood work orders and told me I could get them drawn in Kankakee, to just have them fax him the report.  So I went to one of the local hospitals and had them fax the results to Dr. in Joliet and to my own dr.  Worked fine.  Like you, it hit my $1500 deductible, but at least I got the discount the insurance company gets.

YIKES!!! That is a high deductible. 

I had my blood work done at the hospital too.  I just had the order faxed over to them.  But this time I am having it done at my PCP.  He has done my blood work there before in the past.  Like I said I really like him and I do have to go in for a yearly exam.  I also want to ask him about getting Imatrex for migraines.  I don't get them often but I when I do get them I want to have medicine handy.
