Hello everyone

Today, I am relaxing. 

I might go to Kmart and look at ellipticals.  The good thing about Kmart is that you can put things on layaway. 

I do have some happy news.  My daughter will be getting engaged...after graduation (then on to her Masters).  She wants to get married in the summer 2011.  So I have no experience with planning weddings.  So I will be wandering around directionless...hahaha just kidding I have friends that can help me.  I have to start saving my money.  I am so excited for her.  She will be a beautiful bride.   

Well I will start my nice relaxing Sunday. 

awww congrats to your daughter and soon to be son in law!!  how exciting.  I love weddings!  lol

Still babysitting today.  I will be heading out with the kids later for lunch and a trip to Michaels.  We need to get out of the house!

Happy Valentines Day to All.

No real plans for today. Just going to watch the Daytona 500 and possibily some Olympics later on.

I do want to get some color on the hair today, I haven't done it since October I think.

Congrats to Crystal, an engagement in the family is great. My main piece of advice to new Mother of the Bride, is to keep a small notebook with you at all times. This is for all the questions that pop up into your brain and for things you need to get or return. It kept me organized.

I do have tomorrow off, so it will be a short work week.

Good Morning All!

Just got back from the fitness center.  Got there early,,, but I am glad that I am done with my work out!!

Heading out to watch my nephew play in a soccer game in a few hours.  Should be fun!  

I have been doing pretty good.  Haven't posted in a while,,,mostly lurking.  My weight is coming off at a much slower pace than before.  I guess that is normal because I am 13 months post surgery......I try not to get upset and aggrivated because I know that I can continue to drop the weight.  I have to start looking into seeing the nut again, because I have NO idea what to do once I reach goal.  I know that it sounds funny....but I have never had to maintain a weight....so hopefully the nut will refresh my memory on what I should be doing or do to maintain my goal weight.

I thought I would pop in before everything got totally crazy.  We are having a grea time.  The ****tail party Friday night was really night.  Then we went out for dinner and on to the rooftop bar in the hotel. Evediently this lounge is so popular people lineup for blocks to get in.  It is susposed to be number 1 or 2 in the country.  Very trendy! 

Yesterday was the rehearsal lunch at Maggiano's restaurant which was absolutely wonderful -- bruchetta,tomato slices topped with cheese, salmon, stuffed mushrooms, chicken, a chicken and fetuchini dish, c hocolate mousse  cake and rhis pastry with vanilla bean ice cream on the inside topped with chocolate and whipped cream.  Then Kathy's fianci brought pans of leftovers to us at the hotel for dinner last night.  Can you say stuffed!

I had an embarraaing incident yesterday afternoon.  I decided to walk down to Macy's which was only a few blocks away.  Well after wandering in the store for awhile, my legs just collapsed on me.  I guess  I just dont have enough strength in them yet.  I have been on my feet alot this weekend.  I dont tnink I urt anything except my dignity.  Hopefully that does not happen again today during the wedding.

Today I am working on homework and more homework.  I will probably watch the Olympics some and maybe a movie later, but right now I am going to make pancakes for the family and see if the smell will wake up my lazy bone boys!  Yep, all 3 are still sleeping! 

This week is the last week of another Module done with school, then I have 3 left until my externship and graduation!  wow, I can't believe it's almost done.  I will be heading back to our local community college though to continue for my RN degree this summer too.  I am very excited, but kinda nervous about that too.

I am having a minor surgery at ABMC on Feb 26.  I have to have a hysteroscopy and a uterine ablation done.  It will be outpatient and the Dr said I would be able to go back to school on Monday.  I hate being put under, so if you could all just say a little prayer for me that morning it would be great!

My boss had it done a few months ago and she says it's great.  She had it done on a Friday and was back the following Tuesday.  She said she had some heavy bleeding at first then it was fine.  As far being put under you will be fine...don't worry.  Just think after ward you will feel so much better.
