Good Morning...errrr  guess it's really the start of the afternoon.  It was a busy morning for me..I woke up at 4 am for some reason ( 4th morning in a row), went to my daughters at 6:30 and got my granddaughters off to school by 8. Tthen headed to the grocery store. Have been working in my office since I got back, trying to catch up on paperwork and the usual stuff that tends to get away from me.  Picked up fresh fruit,  apples, pears, tangerines and fixings for salad.  Have to pick the girls up at 2:15 to get Cheyanne to her dentist appt. Breakfast was an Activia Yogurt and coffee, lunch will be soup and a salad with some grilled chicken in it... Not sure what Earl took out for dinner, but it will involve some extra vegies for me.

Hope the rest of your day is beautiful..It is very cold but at least the sun is shinning.
Oh yea...255 this am...am not going to weigh every day as that is making me crazy. Once a week if I can hold out or no more than 3 times a week.

I'm back, I survived all 3 parties but my right knee is now hot and swollen from my bursitis.  Ugh that sucks.  But I'm taking it easy now and told hubby he can run Cub Scouts for one night without me.  I told him if they get wild just take my recess whistle with.  They stop on a dime when I blow that thing.  I don't use it often so they know when I do I mean business.

I wanted to share some *maybe* good news?!  I talked to my surgeon's nurse practicioner to ask if I needed to do anything else to get signed up for Class 2 and 3?  She said no they should call me to schedule those in the next day or two.  BUT my labs came back all fine except I'm Vitamin D deficient.  So she's calling me in a script for Vit. D tablets to take 1 a week.  She said "I'm justing giving you 8, that's 8 weeks which should bring you right up to your surgery."  Sooooooooooo surgery in 8 weeks maybe?????  If that is true and my knee didn't hurt I would be bouncing up and down so much right now!!  Just wanted to share!  I'm weeding out our closets and keep thinking of the day  that I can take my 2x/3x clothes and donate them!!!!

What a beautiful sunshiny day today! I slept late after being awakened at 4 yesterday with the earthquake. Yesterday I was tired all day.

Last night I went to a meeting for a new organization in Rockford for gay professionals. It was great! Today I spent with friends knitting. I finished my first lace scarf and it is absolutely beautiful! Tonight Kay is hosting bunco so I will hide in the computer room and knit and watch tv.

Next Monday is the Rockford support group!

 Good Evening Crystal and Illinois Friends

I sure am glad that tomorrow is Friday and that I have the day off.  If I had to deal with one more person, I am not sure I would make it.  Dawn and Crystal, I sure can relate to being on the edge.  Maybe it is the weather????  I just wish I could get over this mood.  I did get some different meds last night.  I ended up coming home from work early today with a migraine.  Hope it is not the new medicine.  

Had physical therapy this morning.  My knee is hurting from twisting it in the snow on Tuesday.  I must have done a number on it.  Hope it calms down soon.  Right now it is swollen and hot.  

Lisa, I am sorry you are dealing with back and disc issues.  That can be so painful.  

Tomorrow I have physical therapy again and then off to get my hair and nails done for the wedding.  Then I leave for Chicago.  I tried to get hotel reservations for tomorrow night but supposedly they are booked up.  I find that hard to believe.  Chicago hotels are usually screaming for people with a high vacancy rate.  I am sure I will find something.  Maybe my sister will let me stay in her room.  

I am looking forward to the wedding.  Hope everyone has a great weekend!  

Nancy, it is Valentine's weekend and the auto show is in town through next week. That is if you are in the downtown area.

 Interesting thing happened last night.  I went to their web site and they had plenty of rooms available.    So the reservation clerk was not telling me the truth.  I have a room for tonight.  Should of done it over the web in the first place.
