The negatives really just involved wls vs conventional "dieting" for me and where was the appropriate forum for "those people, meaning me". But since I have resolved to avoid the negative I am putting that behind me. From here on out and forward positive attitude and positive supportive people only. I will block the others that express negativity towards anyone in the future.
Thank you for your support. I look forward to seing you here and on FB.

No beating you up babe.. we are the hardest on ourselves. It is a daily battle and for me I know even with wls, I will battle this for the rest of my life. If you had a bad experience w/ someone from OH, I'm really sorry. Please don't let one bad apple keep you away from getting the support you need.
I'm glad you're back. We are all in this together.

You are correct we are all in this together, fighting some of the same issues. I am glad to read that you are getting some answers for you too!

I am glad to see you here (even though I DO see you on FB). We are here for you and would NEVER be negative. If anyone was-----SHAME on them! Like Christina says, do not let that keep you from us.
As far as how to get back on track, go back to the beginning and start eating lean protein first with lots of veggies (fresh is always best, but frozen will do). These should be your main meals and snacks. Fresh fruit can also be eaten, bu****ch for the natural sugar and don’t overdo. Get rid of all “white" foods. Bread, buns, pasta, rice, cream sauces, white potatoes, etc……AND…..the most important…….NO SUGAR, corn syrup, honey, etc.
Try to "eat clean" which means as close to the natural state of the food as possible. The less processing involved, the better it is for you and I find it more filling.
Start slow and eliminate one "bad" thing per wee****il you are back where you want to be.
Also....exercise as you are able and 64 oz. of pure water per day. Try to eliminate soda if it has crept back. Tea is good!

I know my carbs and starches have crept up and my protein dwindled down. I still do stay away from the "white" foods though, since they affect Earls RA, so we never have them in the house. I have gotten away from fresh fruit and fresh vegetables relying on canned or frozen...Earl and I just talked about that last night and how much salt is in the canned vegies. And you hit it on the head my water intake now consists of coffee with added creamer, and diet soda, not much water. So as I look at this can of soda I know this is the last one for me. I will switch back to decaf unsweetened hot or iced tea. I found 3 bottles of Toriani sugar free vanilla in the back of the pantry this morning and threw the flavored creamers out and will use that as I wean myself from the "sweet tastes".
Thank you for the positive reminders.....I also need to go back to some of the wl friendly recipes...

Hey Paulette!
I was just thinking about another possible outlet for you here on OH. There IS a non-surgical weight loss forum:
http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/non_postops/
Now……this DOES NOT MEAN that I want you to leave us!!!!!! We want you to come here for the love and support that we can give you as your friends. BUT, this other forum might also be helpful, I don’t really know, because I have never “hung out" there. Just trying to be as helpful as I can……..
(I am also working on some recipes......)
