Earthquake at 4am, did you feel it?
I did but I didn't know it was an earthquake. I was sleeping and it felt like someone sat on my bed, I was startled because I live alone. I woke up looked around and figured I imagined it. Then later at 5 I was watching the news and heard about the earthquake and thought ok that's what I felt I wasn't imagining anything.
A worthty reminder that the end of life comes for us all.
I was sleeping soundly after an early morning yesterday with Sherry and her knee replacement surgery. She felt it in Elk Grove and thought the staff was in moving her bed but then later the staff came to check on her and tell her what it had been. So I guess i just slept through it in Schaumburg which is closer to the Dundees than Elk Grove by several miles.

You know how when you are sleeping soundly....and you wake just minutes BEFORE your alarm..I hate that feeling esp when it is an EARTHQUAKE!
Yes It woke me from a sound sleep...thought a tree had fallen on the house. Shook us.....I live about 35 miles north of DeKalb and Sycamore where it supposedly originated.....Cool i guess since there is no major faultline in Illinois it is just a rare occurance.

I DID... I felt a little shaky as I got out of bed @ about 350 am to work out as I walked through the house. I didnt think anything of it just thought it was my morning legs. Then heard a loud bang and thought GREAT!!! the snow plow guy is here. HAD no idea it was an earthquake. Didnt question a thing till I got out side and the driveway still had snow on it. Then I looked in the back yard to make sure a car hadnt come off the road behind the house then I looked around to make sure the roof was still on the house. I had no idea that was an earthquake at all until I saw it on WGN at the healthclub..

I live in
Early this morning, I thought my husband came back from the bathroom and THREW himself into the bed. I thought,"What the heck are you doing???" then went back to sleep. Todd would not usually THROW himself into bed. Wierd!
