Hey, this is kinda appealing to me! What didn't you like about it? How much did it run cost-wise? I would think it would help core strength too. I like its small size. --- My vote, btw: elliptica!

Its kind of useless.  It doesn't move enough.  I don't feel like I'm getting a workout.  Also, I have long legs and this thing is made for tall people.  I feel cramped.  I bought it for $100

 Good Morning Christine and Illinois

I am sitting and looking at that white stuff and debating over whether to go to work or not.  I just got my exercise by going and taking my neighbors dog out for a walk.  It was hard to walk in this stuff and I did feel some twisting in my leg.  I know it will only get worse out there, but do I want to take 2 days off?????

I also have PT this morning and am debating about that.  Decisions, decisions, decisions.  I would go if I wasn't afraid of falling or twisting the knee.  But I feel guilty to stay home.  It is hard to walk in that stuff.  It is being cleared as we speak, but we are only half way through.

Crystal, glad you made the decision to stay home.  Lisa, I hope you can get to the doctor and she can help.

No special plans for the next few days other than getting things ready for the wedding.  I leave Friday for the weekend.

Everyone have a great day!

Good morning everyone!

I cannot believe that the kids had school today.  Our roads have not been touched other than the main drag through town.  Hubby drove them to school but I have to go pick up our munchkin when it's time for me to work.  Not looking forward to that!  I was looking forward to a day at home and getting our numerous little projects done (like writing out 33 valentines for all 3 classes) and letting the boys play in the snow. Oh well!

I vote for the elliptical, but definitely test drive a few before purchasing.  Elliptical seems to be easier on the knees and you get a whole body workout.  It'll make your butt tight I'm told

So for me today, other than trying to get to the school for work I just have a dozen little projects to work on.  Ordering Blue/Gold patches for our Cub Scouts, putting together goody bags for the 3 parties on thursday, and the list goes on. Hoping hubby can finish getting our new chandelier up in the dining room.   I found the best deal at HOBO this weekend, a 3 light chandelier with shades for $29, woohoo! A cheap way to update the lighting in our dining room.  Now I'm on  a crusade to find cheap ways to fix up our house to put it on the market.

Well I hope everyone stays safe and if you decide to go out in this be careful not only driving but walking.  Remember Spring is not that far away!!!!

Smooches!

Morning, all,
I vote for the eliptical too, if you have any knee issues, it is so much easier on the knees.  The time goes so much faster than on the treadmill.

Just got done making about 100 brownie bites for garden club tonight and got an email it is cancelled.  I'm going to take some to the neighbors and freeze the rest.  I'll put them in the basement freezer to hopefully deter me.  Wish me luck!  I also made a batch of hamburger soup (with gr turkey) so hopefully that will fill me up.

Girl, that is what I'd call a "weather emergency" - stuck in the house with lots of brownie bites! :) Great solution, tho.

Ok the votes are in I will be buying an elliptical.  Now I just have to find one affordable but good quality.  I also have to watch the weight capacity (unfortunately) the cheaper ones only have a weight capacity of 200-220.  I weigh much more than that.

Hello everyone,

I'm a late poster today. I hope everyone gets home safely from work or errands. My drive was messy but not bad, also helps I only work 4miles away.  My surgery is one week from today, and I am soo excited.  I have most everything ready and just want this done.  well, hope everyone has a good night!
