I hope your back gets better and it is just a short term thing.  Back pain can be very hard to deal with.

 

The weekend was very busy for us with all the performances.  The last show was at 6 pm last night.  I missed the end of the game.  When I left to pick up the kids, the Colts were winning 17-16.  By the time I got to the theater, David said he thought the Saints were winning, a bit later he said he heard that they won.  I guess the Dads that were doing the set moving had a small TV back there.  I am glad that the Saints won as I have a soft spot for the city of New Orleans.

 

The kids (ALL of them) did a great job on the play and we are very proud parents.  Not only are my kids talented, but we got compliments from a few of the adults on how helpful our kids were.  Gotta LOVE hearing those kinds of things!

 

The cast party is Saturday and Liv will be working at the museum Saturday morning while Todd and David volunteer at a local pancake day.

 

I hear that the snow is predicted here for Tuesday night into Wednesday.  We will see.  The good news is that Spring WILL be here relatively soon, so I hope it will be a minor inconvenience.

Lisa i too am having some back pain i had an appt with the back dr and she had to cxl-boo i can only see her on Mon so that really sucks, it seems like something always goes wrong on the days when i have exercise classs but i'm still going, it's aqua so i'm excited, 

I am not having a good today people are just ******g me off, my dr's office sent me more paperwork, which is fine, i had to call my ins and ask questions and fill out  a verification sheet-that's fine, but i was told i need to have a cardio eval for clearance, and this is what has pissed me off, so i am calling around different places, they keep me on the phone for like 30 min getting info then tell me they have appts in june and may or late april, this happened 2 x's so the last time i called i inturrupted the lady and asked when can i get in and i explained what i had gone through, so i have a consult friday at 4pm-yeah.  I don't know if it's nerves or frustration or what, excitment i just feel on edge.

The weekedn was good. Crystal, thanks for the tip on the finger thing for my test, it fell off once-lol so i am working from home Mon is my day for that and running my mom around later.  take care all

hI Sweet n sassy, From what your scale looks like, it looks like we were about the same size when we started. Please don't get impatient with the various Evals.For me, I had to have open heart surgery during my waiting for surgery. actually, my heart surgeon told us that I would of died on the table if it wouldn't been done first.

Thank goodness for thorough doctors that make us go thru all the hoops.  It's a pain in the butt it saves lives and gets us ready for this life style change.

it's not the hoops that frustrate me, it's being on the phone for over 30 minutes and these people cannot get me in until June or May, i should have asked when i can get an appt before gining out all my info on my ins and stuff, that's my frustration.

My message was actually to Lisa... Referring to the fact that if her doctor had not required her get cardiac clearance she would have died on the table.

read post belw, it's not the evals that are the issue, it's trying to schedule appts, you may not remember but i had all my pre-op evals done before my consult, it's trying to schedule telling them the surgery will be in April-hopefully and they are giving me appts in june and may, but i'm good i have an appt this friday

Where did you get your information about what type of testing you will need? If it was given to you verbally, request a hard copy. My insurance company used an outside company to evaluate requests and woooowwwww....they had even more requirements. If an outside utilization company is used, request a hard copy as well.

I know you are nervy and frustrated now. Try to find a relaxation release NOW before surgery. You think you're pissed now? The pain from surgery, lack of restriction, foamies, liquid diet, weight fluctuations and everyday stressors will be SUPER MAGNIFIED.
