Monday Morning Roll Call
Good Morning to All.
I am not doing well today. The right side of my lower back is hurting. I wll be calling the Dr. this morning. The last time this happened, I couldn't even move.
For all you newbys and others, some background on the Roll Call. This was started a bit over 3 years ago by Christine B. as a way to keep in contact with others that was having or had had WLS. She is still an active part of our Roll call.
I guess we are all in for another bout of winter in the next couple of days, I was hoping the gods would be nice to us and let spring come early, but it ain't goin to be.
Be careful out there today, and for the next couple of days. Stay safe, dry and warm.

Hello everyone
It's Monday...UGHHHH!!!! Not to mention we will be getting lots of snow. This is going to be a long week. I can tell already.
I am sending my daughter her Valentines day gift today. I always send her assorted candy but especially her favorite- Fannie May, Trinidads. Did you know that Fannie May has chocolate covered strawberries....yummy. But I was good I didn't get any.
I didn't do much this weekend. I cleaned the house and I didn't go out. My friend stopped by and gave me an early Valentines gift- an electric throw blanket. I was cozy and warm. I wish I could hibernate for the winter or at least work from home so I wouldn't have to leave the house.
Well I hope everyone has a great day.

I also just want to hibernate. I love our new mattress so much it was incredibly hard to get out of bed this morning. That and I stayed up wayyyy too late last night and didn't get enough sleep. So boo on me, that was all my fault.
This morning it's already snowing, blech. Curse you old man winter! Today the morning is busy but once I get through that it'll be quieter. I am meeting with my PCP to fill out the forms from the surgeon's office. Then work. Then I should be able to chill out and watch the snow fly. I'm kinda hoping for a snow day tomorrow just so I can sleep in.
If you have to drive the next few days be careful!

Enjoyed the football game a bunch.
Enjoyed even more last week reading a book called Unexplainable by Don Cousins.
Just realized I should br on Mondays postings. See you over there.
OK here I am. Will read a bit more in that book today as well as likely some in a book called Welcoming the Stranger.
Should be fun getting Sherry to the hospital in the morning for her knee surgery.
Enjoyed the football game a bunch.
Enjoyed even more last week reading a book called Unexplainable by Don Cousins.

Lisa, I am sorry you are not feeling well. Hope you are not getting a kidney infection or something else.
Randy, good luck to Sherry tomorrow. I will keep her in my prayers. I am just grinning from ear to ear by being able to get around so much better. Sherry may not think so at first, but it is so worth it! I climbed the stairs numerous times yesterday doing laundry. For me that is a big accomplishment.
Whoo hoo! The Saints won!
I enjoyed a great game. In fact I kept scaring my cats as I was cheering them on! It was so funny. They would take off running. 
I am still grinning this morning. I am so happy for the City of New Orleans this morning. It is just what that city needs. The font color is in honor of them!
I am not looking forward to the return of snow. Yesterday morning when I was feeding the cats, I swear that there was the smell of a hint of spring in the air. Now this snow is back. I would like to go into hiding until it is all over.

Hope your back gets some relief, Lisa. I have herniated disks in my lower back and before I had my DS, the pain was unbearable. I would over-correct and cause my back some real muscle pain. Only some muscle relaxers and physical therapy seemed to help loosen and strengthen me up.
Another Monday at home. My hubby usually takes our car to work on Mondays so my little guy and I hang out all day, do some art, bake some goodies, read books, watch some TV, maybe host a playdate. Today we are doing ALL of the above. Aaargh.
Yesterday was a major food day. My intake looked like a teenage boys food fantasy: Doritos, brownies, M&Ms, plus of course all of the protein I need. And I got on the scale and saw that I dropped a pound. Crazy. Maybe I should eat that way all of the time!
I want to start doing a TV exercise program every day. I am going to check out what's available On Demand through my cable. Why not? I pay for that stuff already, might as well use it instead of buying a DVD. Maybe I can tone up some!
