**Revised** update on my health
My ferritin was at a 4 so I got one infusion in October. A couple of weeks ago it was a 19, so I got another one. I was absolutely dragging when my ferritein was that low. You must feel like heck.
The infusions are a breeze, let me tell you. And because I can't have my kids with it's like a 3-hour vacation! Push for it, if you can. To get your iron up from the basement, you may need to pull out the big guns.

I had the kick-butt duodenal switch (DS)!
HW: 344 lbs CW: 150 lbs
Type 2 diabetes and sleep apnea GONE!
I always do research and then print stuff out. I then highlight all that I feel pertains to me, I then go to doc armed and dangerous. I make them either do it my way or come up with some good points of whay at that time things should remain as they are. Ask your primary doc his or her advice on all the levels you have here and see what there advice is as well! Best of luck and sending some heathy energy vibes your way }}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Hi Christina,
I hope you feel better soon. Honestly, I completely can understand where you are coming from with this. From what my Dr explained(not sure if it's right or not) but your thyroid has a lot to do with you feel emotionally and physically. So when it's not working right it can lead to feeling sluggish, depressed, and just plain crappy. From what I have read stress can also impact how you feel. I'm sure your dr will find the right combination to help you feel better. Just take your time and know you are not alone. I am constantly having to have my thyroid medicine adjusted. I kinda can tell when a change is needed because I can't sleep and my hair starts to fall out.
Feel better soon!
