Yippeee Friday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Well I'm at work and hoping it goes by fast. I already paid all my bills...whatever did we do when we had pay bills the old fashion way??? Today after work (at 7pm...I'm working 13 hours today) I have a few errands to run and groceries to do. So I left my house at 5:25 and I will be home around 9pm or 10pm...a long day ahead of me.
Yesterday, my seminar went good. It was a little boring but all and all I did learn something. I ate at Buona Beef yesterday...it was soooo yummy. They have a naked sandwich you can order their beef and sausage sandwich without the bread. It was very good. After the seminar I went to the Goodwill by my house. I bought 4 pairs of jeans. I couldn't find any dress pants I liked.
Well I hope everyone has a good Friday and a great weekend.
My DH's snow prediction for today went south and east, so I have already called him at work and, in his words, hassled him about it. We are to get 2 inches of the white stuff later today, but we can deal with that.
Tonight we are going to our GD show choir concert.I love to go to those and hear the young voices sing. Then tomorrow morning heading back to Bloomington for a food party at my DDs. I also need to go to Sams Club and Menards
This morning I am doing some stuff around the house, and maybe get some of the taxes done.
Have a great day, stay safe, warm and dry.
Huggers,
LISA
Good morning
I am working half a day today, then I have to take a pair of shoes back and stop at Wally World for some basics.
The preview show last night was very good. Who knew that my son was SO talented???? We KNOW that Liv is talented, but David really “wowed" us. He is the most used background player and pops up all over the place. We were blown away when he was featured in a dance scene and he was doing an old time “Fred Astaire" type thing with a young lady that involves lifting and spinning and he looked fantastic! Only 5 shows to go………
There was some discussion yesterday about how difficult journaling our food/exercise can be and I agree. It can certainly be a pain. I know there are many online sites that will allow you to keep track, but the two that I have used and like very well are www.sparkpeople.com and www.thedailyplate.com. I think the Atkins site may have something and www.caloriecount.com and www.caloriescount.com are some others that I haven’t tried. Find one you like and it may make things easier. I also understand what “lasolas" is saying when she talks about how it is hard to take that “micro look" at yourself by journaling, but that it what helps us learn to change. I think I will begin journaling again, as I need a tune-up.
We will be spending tomorrow at the theater and Sunday at a Super Bowl Party while the kids are at the theater. I hope you all do something fun that you love.
Have a wonderful day!
So glad it is friday, this has been a very stressful week. Glad to put it behind me and continue on! Today is just a mish mosh of things going on. I opted to keep the kids home today, a mental health day if you will =) They aren't missing any academics today so it was fine. I have bills to pay, I still have to go to work, then just kinda playing catch up to all the things I let slide this week.
Hoping tomorrow that we get our new matttress!
Definitely going to check out those websites for food tracking, I seriously need all the help I can get!
My all time fav is Click! It's the best tasting I have found. They have a blender cup that is amazing. Costs about six bucks for the cup but it's the best. No clumps/lumps. You do have to order it on-line and I think the last order I placed was on Amazon but Click does have a website.
YUMMMO
