I completed my "I need to keep my hands busy" scarf - photo inside

I have a few knitting projects going on at any one time.  My mom taught me how to knit a couple of years ago.  My projects aren't that difficult for experienced knitters, but for me they are a nice challenge.  I have finished a (small) baby blanket and a few finger puppets for my classroom.  This scarf is the first thing I have finished for me.

I need to learn how to knit...  I see so many cute things that people have made- just like your scarf!!!  I am desperate to keep my hands busy...  is it pretty pocket-friendly?  I also like jewelry and would love to make things like that, too... but, it is too expensive for my budget.

I have dabbled in jewelry making and it is pretty cheap if you can find a bunch of costume pieces (I inherited a PILE from Todd's grandma's house after she passed).  You can look for "junk"

jewelry at garage sales and such.  Then, you just take everything apart, sort it all out and re-make it into new stuff!  The wire and clasps are very pocket friendly.
