Thursday Roll Call
Driving to work today wasn't bad. The roads were all nicely salted. My parking lot on the other hand was like an ice rink (that's not exaggerating either). I was so afraid to fall. Then it took me forever to get the ice scrapped of my windows. I'm scrapping my windows and my feet were sliding around it was not fun.
Update, on my wonderful restriction. I think I am now in my honeymoon period because I keep dropping weight. As of this morning I am down 11 pounds since my fill!!!. The one thing I can eat with no problems at all, is grilled cheese sandwiches. I can't finish the whole sandwich though. Now the next problem, I am afraid to swallow my vitamins...no way they will get stuck. So I have been undoing them and pouring the powder into my pudding...can you say YUCK!!! Is there a good chewable, adult multi-vitamin?
Well another busy day. It's quarter end tomorrow. So it's a race against the clock to get everything done before Friday evening. Hopefully we will get it all done.
Have a nice icy day...
Good morning all,
Today i meet with my exercise specialist, which my surgeon requires, so i am going into my office for like 3 hours then I'm out. I'm still at the hotel right now waiting for my relief to come.
Overall a good day, it's been really hard for me to get motivated to exercise, but i started taking the stairs upward at work, to try and get some more movement in my life, it's only been 2 days, but small steps, i have asked my mom to come over today to make me exercise, i have decided my days to exercise would be thur and fri, and sun and mon.
other then that, this last class is really killing me, and i need to get started on the opening of my company so i can begin to see clients by July.
have a good day all!

Lisa, i do all types of work.
I work at a hotel at night- to get money for my start up, my day job is through the state of IL in early intervention, and my company will be a therapeutic company, doing speech and developmental therapy for adults and children birth-3.
But then the kids started waking up and immediately started to fight so I said to heck with that you are going to school!! Hubby has volunteered to drive them so I will just have to venture out later to go to work. By then the truckload of salt I've dumped out there should have worked.
Have a good day everyone!
Chicken Nancy reporting in this morning. I took one look at the walk to my car and called in sick to work. I decided that there was no way I was going to risk falling and wrenching my knee or breaking a bone. Especially when I have no more FMLA left until June. I feel bad about that, but I think they would rather have me miss my half day today than another 6 weeks. So I get to play on the computer today!
Hopefully, DISH network will be here today with my new DVR receiver. I about drove myself crazy last night. I kept wanting to turn on the TV and watch my shows -- Mercy and Ugly Betty but of course I could not. I guess I am addicted to TV as well as food. I kept reminding myself that I went 6 months without a TV when I first moved to LaSalle because I refused to pay cable's installation charges when they had left a coupon special of a $4.95 charge in my mailbox that had expired. I figured they would have another special and they did. I just was not going to pay over $100.00 to get cable at the time. Can we say I am stubborn????
I hope everyone stays safe today. Walk and drive carefully if you must go out! Remember, it is Friday Eve!!!

Cat Lady
I think today is starting better then yesterday (work day) ended. Yesterday, everything went well except that the protein bar I had for breakfast did not like me. Neither did the chili I had for lunch. But. once I got to our temporary driveway at the corner of our street....I got out of the car, walked less then 10 steps, and down I went. I landed on my back, computer, purse and carryall landed on the ground. It was icy enough that I couldn't pull myself up, I kept slipping. I called my DH, and told him to come down to the corner and pick me up. Thank goodness i have lost this weight. If I hadn't, There would of been no way for him to help me.
I am at home today, and intend to stay here. I called my DH and asked him to either bring some salk home, or some sand, Both are available at Krogers.
So what is going on in your world?
Stay safe, warm and dry.
Huggers,
LISA
