Are there any WLS support groups in the Naperville area?

If not, does anyone want to start one?

I am not sure that there are any support groups in the Naperville area. Did you look to see if CDH has a public support group? My doctor is in Downers. His is for patients only but you could come as my guest anytime. PM me if you are interested. I am in Itasca as a reference for you.

On a side note the IL board trys to get together a couple to few times a year in people's homes. We have members that come from down by Central IL and up to the Rockford area and then some. Be watching for an anouncement for a Meet and Great that someone might post.

Thanks, Chris!  I will look into CDH...  and, it would be fun to go to one of those meet and greets!  Thank you for the invite to your group, but I'd like to go somewhere I can continue to go on a regular basis...  I currently go to Silver Cross for their BMI program group (a play on words because it really stands for Bariatric and Minimally Invasive surgery ).  I just think I might need something a little more frequently as I get re-started on my journey.

You are so kind!!!  And, I do hope to meet you at one of the get togethers... 

P.S.  I will keep your doc's group in consideration!

Last time I checked, Central Dupage Hospital did have open meetings.

Thanks, Christina...  you know, if any of you- or all of you- would like to start a small group together, I am all for it!  Itasca isn't that far and Warrenville is right around the corner.  Maybe some other people will see this and want to do something, too... I am not trying to be overzealous or anything, I just know I really need help!  Thank you...
