For All on Medicaid or Medicare

Today I was at my doctors office and it was a gang of women there who had the lap band and gastric.  I found out by listening that in the Chicago land area there is a doctor and hospital that takes the Card for boob jobs and tummy tuck after the surgery and you have lost a signifigant amount of weight.   I did not get the doctors name but I did get the hospital that takes the Card for it.

I don't know the doctors name but maybe someone can do some research and find out.  Don't know how to do that.

Micheal DeWolfe is the only dr. coming up under the plastics, reconstructive surgery heading located at MacNeal.

I wonder how they take the card though?  I thought medicare/medicaid did not cover any sort of surgery like that, though I could be wrong.

I will see if I can gets some more info from the doctors office.

im sure they write it up under medically necessary thats the only way it can pass through the state. i wanted a breast lift for eight years now, i wish i would have known about them. but im going to be getting a revision soon with the silastic ring instead of the band. and im going to call to see what the procedure is for it at hospital. thanks for the info
