Had my psych eval today.  I was very honest and all in all I'd say it went well! No men with white coats showed up so that's always a positive sign!

And so I continue on my journey! 2 more weeks til my 1st class.

My friends and I joked that now I have a piece of paper that says I'm not crazy!  It proves it!

Lol, yeah it is nice to now have it established by a professional that I am not certifiable.  I'll have to keep a copy to show my hubby when he starts to doubt my sanity.

I just worry that my kids will take it on as a personal challenge to see if they can drive me nuts since they haven't already!  They try their hardest though!

I have mine tomorrow. I just have to get over being pissed about having to use a tdoc who's out of my network. Couldn't NMH make sure their tdocs were included in more insurance programs? Either that or expand the list of providers they approve. I get it that this short list is vetted by the surgeons, but it's just doesn't feel very "patient-centered."

I'll be lucky not to be diagnosed as "passive-agressive" tomorrow, given my mood.

Who are you going to see? I saw Dr.Petersen, he was nice.  It was a pretty quick hour of just general information sharing.

I understand what you mean about being frustrated that it's an out of pocket cost for this one.  Unfortunately it would be hard for them to be sure that every doc is covered given how many different insurance plans that are out there and the fact that they change coverages every year.
The most bizarre thing is happening to me now, after 30 some years of getting my sed rate taken every month to monitor my arthritis, this year now they don't cover it!  Which really sucks because it's a blood draw I have to get every month.  Luckily it looks like my secondary ins. will cover it but still, totally bizarre to not cover a widely used test.

Good luck on your eval! I'm sure the passive/aggressive thing won't come up, I hold grudges forever and he didn't even touch on that one
