I am very restricted in the morning. I often have problems with steak but moist meat is ok. Soft breads can give me trouble too. I can't eat fresh apples either.  I have days when I eat just soup or my favorite, chili. I would still chose the band, it has made my life much better since I lost 93 pounds, I could never accomplish that on my own. The band is a tool that works for me by putting limitations which I  have never to put on myself.    Norma

I'm 6 months exactly post-op and so far I have yet to find ANYTHING I can't eat! Which, after the ordeal of my stricture, etc is a nice perk!

Before this week it was pasta, fresh fruit/veggies, and french fries.  Now depending how my band is acting I can't even get pudding down.  Believe it or not I'm fine again.

My pouch HATES bacon!  Don't know why but it does.  Also it does not like fatty foods.  But that's ok, I can live without these foods.  I do miss having bacon once in a while especially BLT's in the summer but that is life.

I don't have much restriction yet, about 2cc in a 10cc band.  So, not much is a problem.  I have some of the typical problems, like pizza dough.  I haven't been stuck yet, but I have had an uncomfortable feeling, but nothing has come up and liquids can go down.  It seems like when that happens I have taken too big of a bite or not chewed well enough.

Pasta, broccoli, rice, and due to my diverticulitis...nuts, popcorn.

unfortunately right now there isn't much that I can't eat.  Rice bothers me and apples..but that's it!  It's making my life hard right now because I am under a lot of stress and am sometimes finding myself falling back into bad habits!  :-(

Obviously....I am very very new, but eggs are bothering me. Nothing else so far.

I can eat anything. HOWEVER, chicken must be very moist or else I feel like I just ate a brick.

In my early post-op days, I could not do hamburgers.
