Hello everyone

I had a bad night.  I thought I was getting better but I NOOOO I'm bad.  I tried to eat dark chicken last night with my friend and spent the next 60-90 minutes burping my food right back up.  I only had three small bites and HAD to stop.  I was soooo uncomfortable and in pain.  My friend, thank god she is a RN so she wasn't grossed out when I started getting sick.  She was interested and asked me lots of questions.  She's over weight too so I think I scared her away from WLS.  Later I tried some pudding and got sick with that too.  Probably to soon to eat.  I will try late this morning to eat some oatmeal.  Then I spent most of the night with reflux.  I had trouble sleeping.  So booooowhooo I'm back to mushies and I'm going in for a small unfill.  If I wasn't so miserable I would stay like this because I have lost 3lbs in the past two days.!!!  Who knew, all you have to do to lose weight is get so tight you can't keep any food down.

Today I plan on taking it easy.  I'm going to leave a message with my surgeon about my situation.  Later tonight I'm going to see The Lovely Bones.  I think I will be ok to go out as long as I don't eat.  Not to mention my friend is also a nurse and she has the Lapband.  So I can't gross her out either.

Shawn- getting one step closer to your goal!!!

Have a wonderful day.

Crystal, I can only rarely eat chicken. I only try it at home because it rarely stays down. I can eat all the other forms of protein, but my band doesn't like chicken! I can eat lunchmeat from the deli so I make chicken roll up with a slice of cheese and chicken and roll it up in lettuce.

It is probably a good idea to check this with your doc too as you plan. Good luck to you!

Connie

Good Morning,

Congrats to Christina. I know you and Calvin are making the right choice. (Fridays Roll Call).

Crystal, try to stay away from breads. They are to dense and tend to ball up in your stomach. Remeber, this too will past.

Shawn, slow down and smell the roses. You seem to be going in all directions at once. Of course, that is my opinion only.

Today, I really want to finish cleaning, dumping, whatever, the back bedroom. We may go to a Blue Grass show tonight. It will depend if DH  got enough sleep last night. He had to go in and cover someone at work and didn't get home until after 11.

Stay, waqrm dry, and safe,

Huggers,

Yay its the weekend!

Not too much going on today, hubby is taking our middle child to see arenacross in Rockford tonight.  It was his birthday present, to go see motorcycles flying in the air.  Then my oldest has a rollerskating birthday party to go to.  So that just leaves me and my youngest to hang out for 2 hours tonight.

I plan on working on a bunch of paperwork that I've put off. Fun times.

Have a great day all!

 Good Evening Everyone!

I am so glad it is the weekend.  I hated getting up this morning for work, but once I got to class, I enjoyed teaching it so it was worth it.  Came home and took a nap this afternoon.  Glad I had nothing planned as the nap was really needed.

Nothing big planned for the rest of the weekend other than grocery shopping and if I don't get that done I can do it Monday.

It should be a quiet week.  I hope to start Physical Therapy this week after I get insurance approval.  My knee seems to have turned the corner in the last few days.  I hope it lasts!  Tuesday I have an appointment with my dermatologist.  My psoriasis  is horrible.  My hands are peeling as if I have a bad sunburn and my meds are not helping.  It has never been this bad.  I am embarrassed to let anyone see my hands.  I sure hope the doctor can help.  He gave me some different meds to try until my appointment but so far, no luck.

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

 Carol

I do freelance contracting for a company in California that works with States Attorneys offices to provide check restitution programs for first time bad check offenders.  It is a wonderful opportunity for people as an alternative to court and/or jail and the recidivism rate is 98%.  So it is a win/win situation.  I have been doing this for about 5 years.  Every class is different and is really interesting and fun to teach.  It is a 4.5 hour class.

Good evening, IL,
Busy day today, first off to the gym then to a seed seminar at a local nursery.  I'm so ready for Spring!  Hope I can get this surgery scheduled soon so I'll be healed up in time for gardening.  Went to see It's Complicated tonight.  Very funny.  Have a good weekend everyone.
