Surgiversary....1 year!
Wow---I can' t believe that one year ago...around this time I was having my GBP procedure! What a crazy and amazing year full of so many changes! As of this morning, I have lost approx. 121.50 lbs. I really can't believe that I have lost that much--because I would then have to realize that I weighed that much more a year ago. I would like to lose about 30-33 more lbs.
I am doing better at accepting compliments with a "Thank You" rather than almost trying to rationalize the compliment. I am also working on really eating slower because I tend to eat a bit faster than I did when I first had the surgery.
Not sure what happens when I reach my goal weight. I mean,,,I do I prevent myself from continually losing? Any suggestions?
Once I reach goal, my work is going to change from losing the weight to keeping it off and maintaining! I may have to speak with a nutrionist to get a refresher!
Aside from the health , physical & appearance differences--I am happier than I have been in a long while!! I have way more confidence too!
I just wanted to pop in and share with everyone and give myself that pat on the back!! Best of luck to everyone who has already had the surgery and best of luck to those who will have the surgery!!
A big Thank You to everyone on OH!! You all have been wonderful throughout the year with answering my questions and giving me advice!!
Have a great one!!!
