Where in IL are you? How's the weather?

Live in Bolingbrook, working in Warrenville and Geneva, i'm not loving the weather but as of midnight on my drive in to Warrenville, the roads are not too terrible!

No schools in this area are closed, so the roads are clearedl

I am in the northwest area of the state (Stephenson County), almost to the WI border.

We got at least 6-7 inches of fluffy snow and the roads are passable.  My kids are off today due to a "teacher's institute" and I decided to take the day off to wait for the cable guy.  It was 22 when I got up and is now 19.  I hear the temp will fall into the single digits by this afternoon.

I live in Manteno and work in Momence (about a 20 min drive)  Roads were snow covered, but passable.  Went about 45 all the way.  no school closed. However my niece in Mahomet said all the schools that way were closed.  Champaign/Urbana were open but no bus service. 

Be careful driving out there!

Peoria area, its a hole 17 right now, no school because we live in the country. The road crew brought out a inloader to plow because they could not get truck down the road! We got 7 inches and then the drifting too. I can not find my car its got drifts as high!  I love winter!!!! Right!

I live in Ottawa and it is currently a brisk 4 degrees...Not including the windchill.  My arthritis is none too happy right now.  Every time I get up and walk around my knees are doing that gross pop click sound with every step.   I am so ready for an early spring.  I got two gardening catalogs today...it didn't help with the spring fever!!
