Monday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Ugh!!! It's Monday. I hope everyone had a nice New Year's.
I had a weird thing happen this morning. Before I went to bed I made sure my alarm was turned on. The alarm went off and I got up (really, really tired) and dressed and brushed my hair. I went into the living room and discovered it was only 12:00!!! How in the world did my alarm clock get reset to 12:00. The time was fine but the alarm was reset??? Weird. I went back to sleep (about an hour later). Now I'm tired because I feel like my sleep was disrupted.
This weekend started out busy and ended up relaxing. I also bought a "learn to knit" kit from Michael's. Hopefully I will be able to teach myself. If not I will have to go to classes. This is one my "to do" items for 2010.
Well I better get going. Have a warm and cozy day..
I agree, it is Monday and it is below 0. I could cuddle up with my blanet again real easy.
We did a bit of running around yesterday afternoon, It was nice in the sun, but still frigid.
Today is work, :(. I have the car running and thawing out. Then I will be off.
STAY WARM
Huggers

Crystal...your alarm clock episode is freaky......
It is January in Illinois and you can tell that by the weather....
luckily January only has 31 days...have you noticed the daylight has starting getting longer? Not much on the agenda for today....maybe Kohl's as I never got there yesterday.
Have a great day everyone!
Good Morning my Il friends!
Crystal, I had no luck with the books to learn to knit. Kay, Connie's partner taught me and I found www.knittinghelp.com a huge help! Casting on and binding off~ Good luck! That is on my "to do list" also for this year is to learn more about knitting. I want to learn how to read patterns, so I can do other things besides scarfs and purses!
Anyway, I bought a wireless router yesterday and installed it. Yeah, nothing can ever go right! Got it working with me being on the phone with tech support and paying them to help me remotely. Oh-well, got it working! I have to work a few hours today, then I'm coming home to exercise. I HAVE to get this last 20 pounds off! I've been at stand still for 9 months now!
I hope everyone has a great day! Stay warm!

Christina,
The people I was babysitting for had another baby and I couldn't fit all the kiddos in the car, so last March was the end of that! I've been a stay at home mom since. I some time work at Mecum Auction and work the auctions, but I've been going in and helping out in the office here and there. More so when an auction in coming up. I'm going to Florida at the end of the month for an auction, so we are getting ready for that. It's good money. I just have to save $ for taxes, because it's a 1099 and I don't get taxes taken out of my paycheck! If I want to work, I do, and if I can't because of Maddie's schedule, I don't! LOVE IT!!!!!! Where are you working these days? Still in the restaurant business? I miss the cash flow from Red Lobster, but don't miss the schedule! Have a great New Year!!!
Kim
Glad you found something flexible. Traveling to FL for an auction should be fun and interesting. I'm working breakfast and lunch at Mimi's Cafe and dinners at Outback. It keeps me busy and at the end of the day.......... I'm not stressed out about work. It's hard work but I really do enjoy it.
Hope 2010 is a great year for you and your family.
