Good grief. I remember when I got my date back in October thinking this day would never come and.....here it is. I have to admit I am getting a little nervous. I have great trust in Dr. Joyce and his team. My surgery is scheduled for 12:45 and I have to be at the hospital at 11:15. Excited but nervous! Save room for me on the losers bench...here I come!

Congratulations and Good Luck!!  Have you packed your bag?  I found that lip balm of any kind was good.  I listened to my iPod during the night when the sounds of the nursing staff outside my room was just too much to take.  I also had a pillow for the ride home.  I packed magazines and didn't look at them once.

I'll be thinking good thoughts for you!

 Woo Hoo!

Your day has arrived!  It is natural to be a little nervous but excited is good too.  It will be over with before you know it.  Remember to walk, walk, walk and sip, sip, sip.  Hopefully you have someone who can let us know how you are doing.  You will be in our thoughts and prayers for an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery!  There is a spot saved for just you on that losers bench.  We have been keeping it warm for you!

You are in good hands with Dr. Joyce and Dr. Lahman, as they do surgery together. Remember to walk, sip and rest and you will do well. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
