The remarks were not directed at you but at Dagny. I think it is just because they are posted below your post that you may have misleading believed we were talking to you! Never would I say that to you. Dagny has gone out of her way to alienate people on this thread. She wants everyone to bow down to her and be able to pick and choose who belongs to her group. That is not what OH is all about and certainly what the Illinois board is about. If you have her blocked, you did not see her reply to the poster from ****ro about why she refused to let her in the group. It is ridiculous! We definitely don't want to be turning against each other on the Illinois board and that was not Christina or my intention. Please don't take our remarks as if they were directed at you, they were not!

Nancy didn't think you were talking to me. I just edited my post to make sure everyone understands I am mad at Dagny not you guys. I appreciate you guys jumping to my defense. It was really nice of you two.
Exclusive groups are great...just ask the KKK, the Nazis, the skin heads and so on ( a little harsh I know but she deserves it). If it's exclusive than I'm not interest. I'm all for opening myself to everyone. Beginners and veterans (even people against WLS). I am not so full of myself that I think I can't learn from some one just starting out in their journey.

Perhaps you will be thrilled to know I will lose the $80 fee I paid to reserve the meeting room along with the fee I paid Meetup.com. And you know what else? I had RNY five years ago. As a matter of fact THERE ISN'T anything I can learn from somebody who had lap band LAST WEEK.

This has NOTHING to do with "joining our little club" as you put it. You came here and started tearing down the group from the get go. We offered you a welcome and you rejected it. That is fine, not anyone who is offered takes us up on joining in on our discussion. But you persisted in trying to SHOVE your group down our throats, but when people expressed interest, you found various reasons to say they were not welcome. You sat such limited parameters that only a select few were welcome and the welcome mat was not out. Think back from when you were obese and were excluded from groups and/or others attacked you and that will mirror your behavior.
You cannot put ANY blame on your failure to form a group on the Illinois board! It is not due to our members. You cannot find a nicer group. You did not give anyone a chance. Instead, you chose to put people down and tell us how wrong we were and always insisted on having the last word. You did it to yourself. No one did it for you.
