I've been mia...I just got back from WV last night. I spent the week of Christmas there. I really did not want to come back home. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.....I still need to read some more posts to get caught up with everyone.

Not much on the agenda today but graocery shopping and laundry.

Hello Illinois....

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. I have been on the main board but have not come over to the Illinois board since Christmas. It's nice to be back.

I am 6 DAYS away from surgery!!!! Yea! Although my head tells me I am ready my body is revolting. Back in 2006 I had back surgery that was scheduled for the end of February I got my date in Early January. I broke out in a rash that I think was caused by nerves, it was horribly itchy all over my arms and chest. Once surgery was over the rash went away. Two weeks ago, the rash is back. I wake myself up at night scratching! UGH! The only thing I can contribute it to is nerves!!!! I don't feel nervous about the surgery so I don't know what's going on. Weird.

Oh well. I hope everyone has a good day.

It is good to see you posting Connie.  We have missed having you around.  Like you, I hate these cold days, but since I have a good excuse to stay inside, I get to admire the elements from afar and just be thankful that I still have a couple of weeks off.  

Today I had physical therapy.  It about killed me.  I have discovered if they come before my pain meds kick in for the day, it is not pretty.  This morning the therapist moved up my appointment and no, the pain meds did not have a chance to kick in.  That means I will spend the rest of my day sore.  I wish I could say I saw light at the end of the tunnel.  A few days I have seen it, but for the most part, I am pretty discouraged.  I KNOW it will be better, but I am impatient.  

This afternoon I have a doctor's appointment.  May take a nap after that.    It is terrible having such a brutal schedule.    Don't know how I will handle going back to work.

Hi Everyone,
I know it is early evening and I have been putsing around all day. I havent even gone out to Starbucks today.
I got a schedule at the hospital. I start training on the 4th. I am so glad I am finally going back to some kind of normalcy that is called work. It will be nice to have a decent paycheck every two weeks.
It is cold here about 58 degrees!!!!! and it got to a low of 32 last night. Now I have never seen that down here in Florida.

Hello Illinois!

We got back yesterday from the water park and I was exhausted. I went to bed early last night and spent today cleaning. I will continue to do so until the New Year. No messy home for the New Year.

Im so happy to have a slow week at work. Everyone is gone. Next week it's back to business, on so many levels. I will be starting school also.
