4 months out and all sudden I'm STARVING!!!?? (XPOST)

I am 4 months out RNY. Up until about 3 days ago, I never felt hungry. All of a sudden I have a rumbling/growling in my stomach. Its a hunger type feeling, which I haven't had in 4 months. I'm not overeating. I don't know if its my pouch is just healed or something else? I'm a little concerned that I stretched my pouch or stoma? I am probably over thinking this, but anyone experience this. Any input appreciated :) Thanks!!

You are not starving.

It's your body still learning it's new configuration. If you are concerned about your pouch being stretched take the 5 Day Pouch Test.

I haven't done it personally but I know people who have at my support group. Here is a link to a YouTube Video that explains it pretty well.

I can still only eat like 3 teaspoons of food at a time so I'm not in need of the Pouch Test, but if you are concerned that much I would atleast try it. Otherwise, speak to your surgeon.
