Happy Monday!

I am not at goal yet...about 30-35 more lbs to go..but am wondering...what happens next?

I am assuming that once my goal is reached I will have to monitor my calories / activity because I don't want to continue to loose the weight if it is not needed.

How long did it take for your weight to stabilize?

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on what to do after then have reached their goal weight.  How is this goal weight maintained?  I am trying to read up on this so I am prepared.

Thanks!!

Hi Joy!

I can't really talk about reaching goal weight, as I never got that last 35-40 lbs. off.

I CAN tell you about maintaining though.  I have maintained the same weight (within 5 lbs.) for 3 years.  I still watch what I eat, especially portions.  I have been off exercising due to the last surgery, but I hope to get back to it after the holidays.   Funny thing for me is that no matter what I do, I seem to stay at the same weight.  The good news is that my present weight is 90 lbs. less than my all time high.

Merry Christmas!

Tell someone that you love them!
