Friday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Friday is finally here...YEAH!!!! Next week I only have to work Monday and Tuesday!!! It does look like I will be picking up my daughter Tuesday after work. Oh well it's worth it.
Today at work we are having our department Christmas party. So we will have treats and presents. Of course it is month end and I have a 4 hour meeting to go to so I won't be able to enjoy this much. Tuesday is our company Christmas luncheon.
This weekend will be just doing some cleaning. Everything is ready for Christmas.

Only 7 days until Christmas, This year has past in record time. I really think the older you get, tthe faster time flies.
today I am busy with the house. I also want to make the cutout cookies and join a friend for coffee. Also need to get to the store and cleaners. I am sure more stuff will come up.
No plans for the weekend. Just do stuff around here. We have company coing for Xmas. He will be here Wed. and leave Xmas day late.

Good morning Crystal, Lisa and the rest of Illinois!
I am working today and if we are not busy, my boss wants me to work on perfecting a breakfast pizza recipe. He likes the breakfast pizza that you can get from a nearby gas station, but he wants to be able to make it on a fishing trip. There are worse assignments.
I will also work on getting more things wrapped today.
The kids have rehearsal tomorrow so I will be back in town. I need to get my stocking stuffers and a roast for Christmas Day.
We are working Mon., Tues & Wed., but Wednesday we are having a luncheon, and the kids are working at the museum, so there will not be much work that day.

Lazy bones reporting in here. Bed felt awfully good this morning. I got up around 8 and fed the cats just to get Claude to stop poking me. Then I went back to bed and back to sleep and woke up about 11 am. Guess I needed the sleep. I did stay up late last night determined to get all my cards done and out for the mailman this morning. Mission accomplished.
Can you tell I work best under deadlines? I can come up with more excuses NOT to do something until I actually HAVE to have it done. Don't know why but that is the way I work best. I never have been one to break projects down into small pieces. I guess I would rather kill myself trying to get everything done. Go figure.
Today, not much is happening. No plans. Will take things as they come. My cleaning later comes later today. I hope everyone has a great weekend.
Lisa, I agree, the older I get the faster time goes by. When I was little I remember complaining to my grandma about how time dragged and she just smiled at me and said "Just you wait" I can hear her say those words today. I just could not imagine time flying but it sure does!

Hello everyone!! I hope that everyone has had a wonderful day today!
I went for my first fill this morning and it was rather painless. Dr. Lahmann gave me the go ahead to pursue more exercise, and I think that's a good thing. I go back on Jan. 6th for my first nutrition class. I've lost 31.5 lbs since the start of the pre-op diet, so I do feel I'm on the right track.
This weekend is going to be kind of busy, but I'll also have time to relax and wrap presents. My daughters are going to visit my mom and dad for the weekend, so after work tomorrow, I can pull everything out and hopefully have the wrapping done. Sunday is our company's Christmas/Holiday party. It should be a fun time this year and I'm looking forward to it.
Well, not much else going on here. I have to get dinner started and plan my meals for work tomorrow. Take care and have a great night everyone!!

My mom got her RNY on Tues and came home on Thurs. She is doing really well.
She is taking cl liq and walking in her appt. My aunt is staying with her this first week to help her recover. I can't wait to see my momma melt!
Been busy for me with new job and getting Mom through pre-op and surgery process.
