Hey Illinois- I just got home from the hospital from having my RNY on Tuesday. Things went very uneventful which was a good thing. I came home with a drain tube and tha twill come out next week but other than that.... Things are GREAT!
I am going to ride and show my horse again.
I am going to live a healthier life.
I am going to be a positive role model for my daughter.

 Stacy

Welcome to the losers bench!  It is now official.     I am glad to hear that all went well.  Now to just get rid of that @(#*$ gas.  I did find the more I walked and moved around the better I felt.  So the mantra walk, walk, walk and sip, sip, sip are really good advice.  Just be careful not to overdo it.  Take advantage of your time off and take naps and enjoy being home.  Now the wonderful adventure is here where those scales just start moving down like magic!  You will never have been so happy to get on the scale    Just dont get addicted to weighing yourself too often.  I stayed off the scales until my first doctor's appointment then you aren't disappointed with any weight gain from fluids.  Good luck and have fun!

I am doing great still. Took a pain pill to help me sleep and I was able to sleep in my own bed. It felt great. I am up and moving this morning. just eating some jello then taking my meds. One medication in particular makes me very sick if I don't take it with food. I plan to shower and then go for a walk outside if the cold air doesn't bother me too much.

Thanks to everyone for their well wishes and healing vibes. I can tell it makes a difference.
