Calling all cookie making people

I usually make cookies on Christmas Eve. For the sake of saving time I was thinking making the dough this weekend and freezing it and then baking them on Christmas Eve.  Is it alright to freeze cookie dough?  Will it still taste yummy?

Hey Crystal-I actually have 5 different types of cookies in my freezer. I make the cookies then freeze them. They just take a few minutes to defrost and they still taste yummy!

Edited to add: Keep each type of cookie in a separate container. You don't want a crisp cookie in with a soft cookie.

That is a GREAT idea!
Freezing the dough will be a big time saver and they will still taste delicious!
