Wednesday Roll Call
Hello everyone
I guess we're in for some ugly weather today. When I left for work today all of the snow was melting. It is a slushy, wet mess. As soon as the temp drops today it will all be ice. YUCK!!! I wish I could hibernate for the winter and not leave the house till spring. Driving home will be lots of fun (said with lots of sarcasm)....Blizzard conditions are coming.
This weekend I think I will make my cookie dough. I think I will run around like crazy Friday and get all of my errands done and stay in Saturday and Sunday.
Monica- I hope you are doing well with your eating and exercising. Every day is a new day. Start fresh today. Not that I am doing all that well. I have hit a plateau no weight loss for two weeks.
Nancy- I hope you are resting in your comfy bed and healing.
Stacy- I hope your surgery went well and you are resting.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day and drive safe.

I am taking it slow. It's not worth it to go fast on the roads, just for a few extra minutes.
Today's another therapy day for me. It should be better than Monday.
Wishing all our new post-ops a speedy recovery!

Good morning all!
I was up early to clear all the snow. I'm sure glad I went out and did the first round last night. Man is it heavy and wet! I had a bad night with food stuck in my tract. I finally got up at 1:30 and expelled it, but then it was a restless sleep until 5am. I'm thinking that I may need to get my band loosened slightly. The doctor warned me not to have too many incidents in a given week, and now it seems to be happening almost daily. Funny thing is, I'm not loosing any weight! I want to loose another 10 pounds, but not if it is causing pain or problems. I think today will be a liquids or soft food day. Have fun and stay warm everybody!

Yikes, Paul! That sounds painful. Hope you can get that worked out soon.
Today is a "stay-inside-except-for-taking-kid-to-school" kind of day. My hubby and I share a car (we live in the city, near public transportation, so usually it's no big deal) so I let him have the car today. I may regret that decision later when I have cabin fever!

Good morning everyone!
Today is my first day off since Friday and I'm glad that I won't have to drive in this weather. It was a busy weekend, but a lot of good things happened. We went to the Christmas tree farm and got our tree...I wasn't even that tired after walking around...just very cold. Last year, it was much tougher on me to walk around, that's for sure. Sunday was my daughter's band concert and they played great. Afterwards, we all went out to eat and I did well and stopped eating when I felt full.
I'm noticing more energy in me now, and I think all of my incisions are finally healed well. I'm going to get some baking done today, and I need to put some chicken in the slow cooker...it seems like the perfect day for it!

We are far enough south, that we only got rain. Roads were fine, but, like Lisa, the winds are crazy. Working until about 2 today then taking lunch and heading into the Kankakee area to do some shopping for the retirement party we are having for 2 of our employees on Friday. We are a small office group, so the "party" stuff falls under the HR heading! I don't mind. Gives me different things to do.
Thurs (tomorrow) I am off all day, but having my Christmas party tomorrow night. COLD and windy, hope it doesn't scare people off!

Hello Illinois Friends
It is sure windy today! When I went out to feed my outside cats I was sooo glad I was not going anywhere today! Drive safely those of you that are on the road. It is snowing here now. My cats were making good use of their dog house filled with straw. I think they appreciate it on days like this. I keep telling myself that feral cats have a way of keeping warm. Glad I am not a feral cat.
Well I learned my new knee can bend all the way by accident this morning. I had gotten up to feed the cats and was crawling back into bed. I swung my leg into bed without thinking and bent the knee fully without thinking. Boy did that hurt!
I won't do that again any time soon.
Well I hope Stacy is starting her new live on the up side today and will recover fast. Everyone have a safe, warm day.
