Sunday Roll Call

Good Morning Illinois,
It is an early start to the day.  I have more cleaning and room rearranging today.  I also have to go grocery shopping and if I get everything done (I doubt) I have a room full of items to take to Goodwill.  Although that will probably have to wait until next week.

Good morning Sheri and Illinois friends!  I feel like I am caught up in  book  called "TheAdventures of Nancy"  There are too many people making decisions, and they don't agree and I am not involved. try to advocate for myself and it is either a losing proposition or a huge mountain out of a molehill.  Yesterday a physician assistant decided to cut back on my pain meds after FINALLY getting it all under control.  I complained to my doctor but he de****c we would try it withless pain meds and if that did not work go back to what worked.  I had to waituntil after 6 last night for them to agree that this was not the best I  may or may not be going home today.  There are 2 versions on that story as well.  Needless to say I dont know what end is up.  Hope everyone has a great day.

Nancy, I hope your  adventure ends soon for you. It is starting to sound like a soap opera, The only thing missing is the music. :) Really, I would like to see you able to go home and get some rest.

I started baking yesterday, and have one cookie made and frosted this morning. Will either do one more later today, or make choc. covered pretzels later.

DH went back to work today after his last vacation of the year. The house is nice and quiet, and thats the way it will stay until he gets home.
I do have some pick up to do. Not sure what will be for dinner today. I should check the freezer.

Good morning Sheri, Nancy, Lisa and the rest of IL!

I'm feeling really good today!  I'm up and dressed and ready for the day.  Seems like such a small thing, but after the way I've been feeling the last few days it is a blessing. 

We are putting up our Christmas tree today.  Can't wait!

Nancy, I am so sorry that you are going through this while in the hospital. Pain is something that unless you personnaly go through it, you have no idea of how awful it is. I pray they get it right for you today. This is one area that needs improvement in all hospitals.

Sue - I'm happy to hear that you are feeling better. Those first couple of days are difficult to get through.

Sheri - you are a very busy lady. My hats off to you.

and Lisa - the cookie maker. Good luck with the baking and cleaning house. Take some "me" time for you during all of this!

Me, very exhausted after last night's party. Got home around 11:30 pm. Danced twice. My splint needs a major adjustment.. Too much pain with it on, so I took off the top and used an ace wrap to secure and immobilize the top portion. Tomorrow I'll go for another adjustment.

Hi All,
Nancy I hope you can get your pain under control. I hate when medical people make decision for you and you dont know what is going on.
I am gearing up for flying to Chicago on Friday. I am going to spend the day on SAturday with my kid. She is turning 28 on Saturday. It is funny cause she was born on a Saturday.
I am praying that it wont snow, or if it does it does in on Wednesday and Thursday. I hate driving in the  snow . Ill have a rental car and it scares me if there is an accident with one.
Ill only be in Chicago till Sunday morning then back to Florida so I can get ready for Monday the 14th as I finally start my  new job.\
