Anyone use The Kane Center in Hoffman Estates/Arlington Hts??
I would highly recommend my surgeon, Dr Jeff Rosen. There are several of us on the board that have him as our surgeon. Dr Rosen will take a patient for follow up care when a person has had their surgery with another doctor. Dr Rosen has a well rounded follow up care with nutrition, exercise, follow up mental health care (if needed) and naturally medical care. We have monthly + support groups (17 + a year) that the majority of the staff (doctor and medical included) that attend in addition to the patients. And where do you find that a doctor comes to a patient's support group AND participates?
Here is Dr Rosen's web site for more info. And of course you can contact me via PM. http://www.lifeweighbariatrics.com/

I have to echo the sentiments on Dr. Wallace. My surgery went perfectly... Dr Wallace was so supportive before, during and after. The office staff at the Kane Center is sometimes slow... but my experience with Dr Wallace was sooooo good it didn't matter. I would HIGHLY recommend him. The Kane Center offers a variety of support groups too. I attend the monthly RNY group and have made some really good friends there. We even share clothes since we change sizes so quickly.

My surgeon as you see is Dr. Kane Jr. and I have worked with a few others in past medical experiences. I really love the team there, they have been great for me. I also love the different support groups they have and have been their patient for the last 7 years. Finally this past August I started my new journey by having surgery.
