Tuesday Roll Call

Hello everyone

I'm really wanting the weekend here.  I was soooo tired when my alarm went off this morning. 

I had a great NSV this past weekend and forgot to share it with you.  We were getting ready to leave the house Thanksgiving day to go to the family's dinner.  I told my daughter that I was going to wear my nice leather coat (my friend gave it to me last year and it was too small for me to wear last year).  So I thought it will surely fit me this year.  Well I put the coat on and it was huge on me!!!  My daughter told me to take it off because it looked ridiculous on me.  So I find these little things showing me that I am losing weight...even if I can't tell in the mirror.  Sad thing is I never got to wear that beautiful coat.  We are having a coat drive at work and will give to them. 

Nancy- from what I can tell on Facebook it sounds like your surgery is a go!!!  Good luck!!!

Well, yesterday was really slow at work. I know it won't be that way today.

I did get  a few more gifts wrapped last night. I need to finish up a fewthings before I finish wrPPING. then I will start baking.

Tonight might be finish up the laundry night. Not sure yet. I know this morning is get going and get to work day. I know its get to work on time day.

I hope yesterdays surgeries went well, and  Nancys today/

Lazy me this morning wishing I was still or perhaps .  The sun is giving my right shoulder a very nice heat treatment though.  Yuck I need to clean that balcony door.

Way to go Crystal on the NSV, but sorry you could not wear the coat.  Maybe someone here could use it?  What size is it? 

I have not checked Facebook yet, but if Nancy is having surgery, I have her in my thoughts.  I am glad that it worked out as I understand COMPLETELY the frustration she was feeling.

Randy, how nice to be able to sit in the sun.  Enjoy it, because i hear the REAL December weather is on its way!

I am working, then going up to Madison for my 6 week follow-up.  I guess I over did it yesterday as I am now sore and tired.  This too shall pass.  My husband told all of our guests over the weekend that I have been really cranky these last 3 weeks.  I did not realize it was that bad, but I know that I DO get cranky when I am tired and sore.  I am trying not to take it out on anyone else though.

I hope Sue and Tanya are doing well and am thinking of Nancy.

Well, I did Christmas shopping for Chloe on Amazon last night (I shop for her grandma/pa too and ship it all together).  Had an email this am already they have shipped part of the order!  YAY.  I LOVE AMAZON!

Glad to hear Nancy's surgery is a go. Hope all goes well.  Will throw a few prayers her way.  Hope our 2 surgery people are doing well. 

Thursday at work, we are having our annual Turkey dinner for the employees.  I'm in charge of it, so that will be a busy day!  Ordered pies from Baker's Square & a local restaruant does an excellent job setting up and serving, so I don't have to get involved in that!

Have a super day.  Nice to see the sun...but look out, it's comin'.

Good Morning Illinois.
I am currently on day seven of my pre-op liquid diet. It was much easier over the holiday weekend when we were at a horse show and I didn't have a clock or reminder of the time. I could get wrapped up in riding and grooming and not focus on eating. Now that I am at home, it is much more difficult. I have made it this far.. I can go six more days!

I met with the surgeon for the last time before surgery yesterday. The only thing I have left is the pre-op physical. I am very excited.

Surgery one week from today. Seems so surreal. I have wanted this and worked toward this for so long it seemed like this would never come... but it is here.

The sun is shining:) I'm done with decorating and the gifts are bought and wrapped:) Now I can relax and enjoy the holiday festivities.

What a great NSV you had Crystal :)....sorry you never wore the coat:(

Hope all the newbies are doing well and on the road to recovery. Remember to sip, walk, and rest.

Sorry I haven't posted much lately, I have been trying to be active and not at the computer.  I have a bad habit once I get on the computer I stay on it for hours.  (Where does the time go)

Hoping everyone is doing well.

I have been busy wrapping gifts, working on getting tasting scheduled.  Trying not to think about food and not eating when I start to get stressed.  My nephew took a picture of my mother, sister and I when taking the picture he said Aunt DeeDee face looks so thin. What an AHHHHH moment.  It's great that a child notices.  I personally don't notice it.

I hope everyone can take some time and relax and enjoy this holiday season.

Hopefully Nancy had her surgery since she hasn't posted yet and it's afternoon!

I need ot start wrapping the presents that go out of town. I heard there was a long line at the post office already. I think I have all the out of town presents.

Kay made cookies for a Christmas party tonight and they didn't even look good to me. Who knew?
