Well then, Good morning fellow losers and soon to be losers from the great state of Illinois.

My intention today is to do as little as possible.  I do want to learn a few more keys on this new keyboard from the home row.  I want to play on Facebook for a while.  Sunshine I am afraid is deceptively nice so I am not sure how much time I will spend on the balcony.  I am a slow person, so I am just now beginning to get to the point of being thankful so that should wonder into my mind while on the balcony.  I will be thankful for Sherry right now who just made me a butterscotch maple fudge protein shake.  Pretty good.

Dave and I are going back to the outlet mall and Wally World a little later on after breakfast. We also want to go to downtown Dells and get somemore cheese curds and do as much walking as possible. After that we will get a snack or just wait until dinner to eat. We do have a lot of left overs in the great outdoor fridge called the cooler in the car - all we need to do is warm it up in room. I always bring a small bag with eating utensils and plates.

Since today will be the warmest day of the next couple of days, I'm going to re-do the garland on the railing. I just do not like how it looks.
 
Also making a trip to the cemetary and my DH is going to get both cars washed and then he will hand wax them again before the winter weather sets in. While he does that I will finish decorating the tree.

 I tried to start roll call earlier but loswt my reception.  So much for being on an island.  No cell phone towers so poor reception.  I was talking to Carla K last night and the call got dropped.  You can only do things outside. 

Today is my last full day here.  We are meeting Carla for dinner and I am spending the night with her before flying out in the morning.  It has been such a great time;.  I am reallty enjoying the little ones and the new baby.  Plus we are doing a pretty good job of making sure my nieces family understands just what he is getting into in the family.  He has gotten the full version of "meet the parents & kids"    I think he still wants to stay.  (cant insert laughing icon)

Good Morning Randy and the rest of the Illinois peeps!

Did a little Black Friday shopping yesterday, then home and my BF's husband came over and hauled in my Christmas Boxes and helped me get my tree set up.  2 years ago I got one of the pre lit trees, and I always wonder every year if it will light!  WEll, it did! yippee!

Chloe helped me start setting stuff out, and hopefull after we go decorate at the church this morning, we'll come back this afternoon, finish, clean up and decorate the tree!

It's wonderful to see the sun.  Everyone have a super day.  Enjoy the weather and your weekend.

Good afternoon everyone!

I started work at 5am this morning and now I'm finally home and can relax.  I'm starting to feel like I may need to look for a new job soon...I really do think it's time for me. 

We haven't done much with the inside of the house, but the outside is decorated and lit.  Next weekend we're going with my brother and sister to get our tree up in Dekalb.  The last few years we've cut our own down and the kids really do have fun. 

I'm working again tomorrow, but I'm definitely going to get some time in to relax tonight and maybe take a walk in this nice weather!  Have a great day everyone!

Hello IL~

I spent the day doing last minute stuff for surgery on Monday.  I went to the grocery store and Walgreens.  I got my magnesium citrate for tomorrow.  I'm looking foward to that (insert sarcastic laugh here). 

I'm getting excited and nervous.

Will be thinking about you on Monday.  Will you stay overnight?  Where is your surgery? Alexian Brothers in Elk grove or elsewhere?

Just think, you'll be done in not time!  Good luck.

Yes, Alexian Brother in Elk Grove.  It is considered day surgery, but I think I will stay overnight.  I'll, hopefully, be released before 8:30am on Tuesday. 

I keep hoping that time will pass quickly!  lol

Good evening friends!

As some of you may have read on Facebook, we had the neighbor boys carry up the Christmas decorations (which took them less than 15 minutes). We gave each $5 and they came back and said it was TOO much money! They are the nicest young men I have met in years! It is possible to still raise polite and respectful children--there is hope for the world.

We spent the rest of the day knitting with a short walk around the shopping center at noon. It was so warm today! Kay and I shopped a bit together and went out to lunch and back to knitting. I'd be done with my Christmas knitting if I didn't keep adding people to the list!

We are both so enjoying our lives these days--so grateful for the surgery!
