Gobble Gobble and Happy Happy
Sorry to not respond to anyone during the daily roll calls that I posted for Friday and Saturday. I finally received WIFI access at our 3rd and final hotel that we are staying at in the Dells. We found out that the WIFI was out when we got to the little hotel in downtown Dells - oh well not too much of a prob. At least I have it now. I was not chomping at the bit so to speak because I had no Internet, but missed the connection.
Anyways, even though the weather is dreary and a little rainy anything is tolerable when you are on vaca. We sat for close to an hour on our balcony this morning before we had to check out. We had our Mexican blankies with and sat out with our coats on. We have been shopping at the local outlet mall, local shopping and at the resale shops. I found a brand new Christmas knitted vest with the tags on for only $8. We have done a lot of walking even with my cast on and sometimes I have used my sticks to make sure that I was stable on my feet because there are a few hills here in the Dells.
Tonight at 7pm we are going to the local Thanksgiving Eve Ecumenical church service and then back to go to some of our "haunts" that we like to go to and rub shoulders with some of the locals.
