Tuesday Roll Call
Hello everyone
My daughter comes home today and for the first time in a couple of years she's not coming home sick. It started to become a tradition to pick up my daughter from school and take her straight to urgent care. Not this year!!! I'm sure this day will go by really slow.
Today at work we are having our Thanksgiving lunch. I don't know if I ever mentioned I'm a really picky eater. So I never have problems at Thanksgiving because turkey is the only thing I really eat anyway. I hate stuffing, most veggies, cranberries and pumpkin pie....yuck. I can't really tolerate potatoes so no temptations for me. I will be just eating a plate of turkey...which is good for me.
Well I hope everyone enjoys their day and I hope and wi**** goes by really fast.
I decided that i was going to get on the computer first thing this morning. I'm amazed how I feel after you lose 50 pounds. I have so much more energy. I don't want to sit in front of the computer all the time(like I used to). I have been decorating, exercising, and wrapping gifts. This is the first year in many that I have every wrapped gifts this early. I'm always doing it the week of Christmas.
Crystal-I'm so happy for you that your daughter is coming home sick free. I know you will have a great time with her. Enjoy.
Georgie-Wow 2 pant sizes, doesn't it feel awesome, and there's many more to come.
Randy-Congrats on your list of first.
Lisa-Enjoy your "new" home. I'm sure it feels new with the painting and new furniture.
Christine-It sounds lie your having a great time.
Nancy-Wishing you a safe and fun trip.
Omar-Hope you first day back at work, wasn't to stress-full.
Carol-Your head of me with the cards. I just got them out yesterday. The cards are one thing I don't like to do. When I worked at the dentist office we hand signed all of the cards and mailed out 2000. I do cards for myself, and my mother-in-law who's in a nursing home.
Dawn-You sound so much better. Keep up the great work.
Kathy-Hope your feeling better after the staples were removed. Hope your doing well.
Sheri-Hope your doing well.
Today I'm going to wrap more Christmas gifts and not let any ones negative mood effect me. I might even try to write a few cards. My mom decided to have a little Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday at about 6:30. Friday my mom, sister and I will be out with everyone else. It's a tradition that we do. I love to people watch. I only have a few grab bag gifts to buy.
Thank you to everyone for your support. I may not check in everyday, but please know your all in my prayers and are a blessing.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Not much going on around here today! Got most of the laundry done yesterday and baked some cookies. Have a few errands to take care of today.
Crystal-I hope your day is busy so the time passes quickly....don't look at the clock too often. Enjoy your time with your daughter.
Have a great day everyone!
I am working this morning. I managed 5 hours yesterday, then went home, got dinner assembled and took an hour nap. I am finally feeing like this will end soon! I even saw that a few stitches are coming out. I should be back to normal before too long! I am planning on doing 5 hours today and tomorrow, then a long weekend.
Glad to hear that your daughter is not sick this time Crystal! Enjoy that turkey too. I wish you a speedy day.
Carol-you are so good to have everything done! I have not even started, and have no idea when I will get the chance. With me being on unpaid leave, we are in a bit of a bind financially.
Deanna--you are SO sweet. I understand about the new energy you have and you will enjoy it SO much. Life IS good!
I am keeping you ALL in my thoughts each and every day!
I neeed to add a few inches of notches to my belt and hope the shoe repair place can do that for me. Then I need to pick up a phone splitter and a speaker splitter for my home office set up.
Maybe a stop at the old Mark drugs for some giant Telpha pads. Then a meeting at Dr. B's in Willow.
I am planning on making an pumpkin oatmeal with my shake powder on Thanksgiving. We are having a brunch with my brother and SIL. The paperwork I received has a recipe for oatmeal, for a more substantial meal. So, it will be a little treat on Thanksgiving.
