Thanksgiving NSVs

This color is not about mood but about the season.

I consider myself an acronymophile but have no idea what NSV is the acronym to. From the context though I thought it might be ggod at thanksgiving to have a thread where we list a few recent or favorite ones.

Mine for today is that I need to stop by the shoe repair shop and have some more notches added to my belt or I could be in for some embarressing moments.

NSV is Non Scale Victory.  Adding notches to your belt absolutely qualifies!

As far out as I am, I don't really have many new NSV's any more.  I CAN say that I am very thankful that with my lost 90 pounds, I was much healthier going into this last surgery.  That is really something!

A couple of mine are

- I am wearing jeans and sweaters that I haven't worn in 5-7 years. I have gone down (5 sizes in a year)

-when I went to the theatre I noticed how much better I fit in the seats

- My daughter could tell the difference in my energy level.

-no more blood pressure medicine.
