Monday Roll Call
It is time I went and got some sleep.
My first milestone for Sunday though came when I sat through the morning service in a normal people chair.
Next I took four shirts and a jacket to the cleaners that I have not worn in three or four years.
Next I changed out a kitchen chair for an office chair at the computer so I can spend hours at the computer relearning how to type on an ergonomic keyboard which you guys are the recipients of the first words from.
Hello everyone
I am so happy that this will only be a three day work week!!! Also, my daughter comes home tomorrow!!! I can't wait to see her!!! Her boyfriend is coming Wednesday and will be spending Thanksgiving with us. So this is a very good time for me.
I spent the weekend cleaning. I do my spring cleaning in Fall (and in the Sppring too). I have to rearrange my furniture to accommodate the Christmas tree. So I figure while everything is pulled out, I might as well dust and vacuum. I have everything ready for Christmas, except decorating the tree, my daughter and I always do that together. The tree standing in my living room naked waiting to be decorated.
Randy- congrats on your NSVs!!!! I should go through and list mine...it will keep me motivated.
I hope everyone enjoys their day. I hope the next couple of days just fly by!!!
Randy, Congrats on your accomplishments. I know it feels really good!
Crystal, enjoy your time with your daughter! It will be nice to have her home, I'm sure.
I, too, only have a 3 day work week. Yay! Got my Tgiving dinner shopping done over the weekend. I'm cooking, but will only be indulging in "a little". My next Dr. appt is Dec 2 and I'm supposed to get my first fill. Looking forward to that. No I won't get a lot of restriction, but I feel like I need something right now. NSV - bought a pair of jeans on Saturday (because mine all look like clown pants) and I was down TWO sizes. Yippee.
Hope everyone has a super day. I know a few are getting ready for surgery this week. Thoughts and prayers are with you!
Georgie
Like Crystal, I am done shopping, except for 1 gift, done with the tree, done with cards. Now, it is time to sit back and enjoy.
I do have to go to the store after work today,

Nancy, I work so I can shop. And, we haven't bought a new car yet. Furniture was needed, badly.
It is foggy this morning. I am only going here in town, so it won't affect me today. My DD told me we are to expect snow showers on Thursday.
I hope she is wrong.
Randy, you are doing great. hese little moments are great littlwe pick me ups.
Off to work. I hope it won't be to bad. I came down with a cold over the weekend, and under no curcomerstanes can I take off the this week.
Huggers, Lisa
Today is my official first day of work after the surgery. I am excited and nervous about the pile of work that is probably waiting for me.

Have a good one,
Omar
Randy- you are having a lot of WOW moments now! Congrats!
Crystal-hope you enjoy your time with your daughter this week.
Georgie- WOW two sizes down and many more to go!
Lisa-it must feel like your living in a new home with the new furniture you bought!
This weekend we went to see Precious and Blind Side. Both were good movies. Precious was a little dark and deep subject matter. Blind Side was heartwarming.
I've got my Christmas cards written and ready to send. All but two gifts are bought. After Thanksgiving we will put the tree up and decorate. Then I'll need to get busy wrapping everything. Then I will get to relax and enjoy the holidays. Can't wait to enjoy the holidays with my grandchildren.
Hope you all have a wonderful day!
Good Morning Everyone!
Randy: Wow! What wonderful accomplishments.
Crystal, I am sure you are excited to see your daughter.
Lisa, I am glad you are able to get the things you want. I have to admit I love to shop as well. I just have had to cut back in recent years since I am not working in my field.
Omar: Good Luck at work!
For me I am in panic mode. I leave tomorrow night after work for Bloomington. My flight out is at 6am on Wednesday morning for Florida. When I come back, I have one day to get ready for surgery;

Hope everyone has a great week!
Georgie, 2 sizes, Wow!

Called off work today. Have been having pain and uncomfortable in tummy area. Have a call in to Doc. Put it off all weekend. Afraid to lose new job. My DH said better now than if it gets worse!
Just afraid to eat or drink anything , so figured I better call.
Don't really have time for this! Oh Well!
You are doing great with the NSV's Randy! They will keep coming.....enjoy them all.
Craystal, I am happy to hear that Amanda is coming and that her boyfriend managed the time off. Enjoy!
How fun for Lisa!
Friday night, my girls and I went out to dinner to celebrate my birthday and we had a good time. Saturday night, we had a fire in the backyard and yesterday, the last of the yard work got done and I was put in charge of the front porch. I slowly carried all the potted flowers to the back, swept the porch, then put up the fresh evergreen roping that we get from the Boy Scouts. I have to complain to the wreath company, as one of my ropings is pitiful. It got done though, slow but sure. I had to take a big nap afterwards and went to bed early. Today, I am a little sore.
We decided that we will have a big Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday. We have to go to my in-law's on Thursday. We are very excited because my brother is coming (which he never does) and a friend of ours who is originally from Camaroon is also coming. She has been in the US for 20 years and has NEVER had Thanksgiving dinner at anyone's home. We will be her first! She is SO happy, and we are happy to have her!
We do not do anything about Christmas until after December 5, which is Todd's birthday. When we first met, I made him a promise that I would not combine his birthday with Christmas as happens to many children born in December. Some years, I regret that promise, let me tell you! After that, we will decorate for Christmas.
I am SO happy to see that our new surgeries are doing well and we have more coming up! I also see that we have some new posters, and I hope they stick around and join us!
I am also happy to see that Kim is alive and well......I miss her.
Everyone have a wonderful day!
