Good Morning Illinois!

Bright sunny day, looks like a good weekend - ENJOY.  I'm thinking it might be just the weekend to put my CHRISTMAS LIGHTS out on my front bushes.  (Not a strenuous activity, and a friend will bring the boxes out for me so I won't be lifting!)  Ok, but the rules are, don't turn them on until after Thanksgiving!!! (at least that's my rule)

I am feeling really well.  Today, I am going to make a short trek to Wally World and figure that will be a good walk to take, too.  I get to start puree today...open to any good suggestions!!

Hello everyone

Finally it's Friday!!!!  Yeah!!! 

I hope this day goes by fast.  I have plans after work to go see 2012. 

Next Thursday I will going to a pre-screening of New Moon.  I can't wait for that.  I have been waiting for this movie ever since I got caught up in the Twilight books.  Then I can't wait till Thanksgiving week.  My Amanda will come home for the week.  She hasn't been home since August.  I miss her lots.  I invited her boyfriend to spend Thanksgiving with us because his family doesn't do anything for Thanksgiving.  But he works retail and he has to be at work early the next day.  Oh well. 

Georgie- you sound like you are doing really well.  I'm glad to hear you're up and moving around.

Good morning Georgie and the rest of Illinois!

Boy Georgie!  I am impressed and glad to see how well you are doing!  Good for you!  I agree....put the lights up, but not ON until after Thanksgiving.  I can not believe that I am already seeing Christmas ads!

I am looking forward to the nice weather holding out for a few more days.  Todd is talking of having a back yard fire this evening.  That is always nice, and it will be as long as I get my rest today and take a pillow to sit on.

I have decided to try a half day of work on Monday to see how it goes.  That way, I can come hhoe and still get a nap in.  I may have to take the kids in tomorrow for play rehearsal, and if so, I might stop by my office and spend the waiting time cleaning out my email and seeing what kind of mess they have left.

Crystal, glad to hear that you will have Amanda for a whole week.  I know how much you have missed her.

I am planning on gringing some dried peppers into powder today and taking another nap.  Slow but sure, that is my recovery so far.  I might even walk around the neighborhood a bit.

Good Morning Georgie,

I am so happy that you are already planing some activities this weekend. I might join you in putting up the outside holiday lights. Our rule is the same, put them up, but no lights on until Thanksgiving is over.

This morning I have painted an accent wall in the rec/tv/all purpose room, Its a medium orange, to go with the 2 new leather chairs (deep brown), and the light brown sofa we bought the other day on our spending day. I really didn't expect to buy furniture, just a replacement recliner, but DH was being in a Santa mood. BTW, the rest of the room is off white.

This morning I am refilling 2 cabinets I emptied last night. I am redelegating stuff, and throwing out stuff and basicly doing  a "clean house" approch to the room. Over the weekend, I need to look for new lamps, since the ones I have are black, and the new stuff is  brown.

Crystal, I am glad for you that Amanda will be home for a week. You will enjoy your time with her.

Good Morning Illinois....

My daughter and I took a walk last night and were shocked by the people who not only had their lights up but on. We even saw some houses with Christmas trees up and on! Good grief. My daughter's b-day is in early December and I can't get into the Christmas mood until after her birthday.

Georgie sounds like you are doing really well. That's fantastic.

I have to shop for our receptionist this weekend. Her baby is due soon and we all chipped in for a gift. It's a girl and I am the delgated shopper. It's always fun shopping for girl stuff.

We have a prelite and always decorated 7' tree in our three season room up 365. We will light it during the summer for a pretty glow in the room while watching TV instead of turning on the regular lamp lights.

You guys are funny.  You will laugh but I'm one of those people that can't wait to get my Christmas stuff up.  I have restrain myself from putting stuff up before Halloween.  I will start putting my stuff this weekend.  I can't help it I love Christmas, I'm like a little kid, I can't wait till Christmas.  So when you drive by my house and it's all decorated already ....please don't judge too harshly....I have a severe case of Christmasitis.

Georgie glad to hear doing well.  Be careful not to over do it.

I have been cleaning and decorating.  My Christmas tree is up, and my hose is getting to look like winter wonder land.  I have 6 trees up.  I love Christmas.

Not much to say today.

Geogie, don't do too much but do what you need to do.

I am waiting on twenty protein samples I ordered last Saturday.  Maybe fifteen flavors.

After my cold drainage subsided I have been able to eat more but do have to remember to eat.

I have a brisket to rub today and cook tomorrow.  Won't be able to smoke it but may throw it on the grill to get some smoke on it and seal it up.

Yeah we passed our DOT audit. 

I also can not wait until Christmas, I would leave my tree up year round if my husband would let me, I start putting my decorations up Thanksgiving morning.  At my house though it looks like Christmas has thrown up, there are decorations all over.  Even my spare bathroom is completely decorated.

Looking forward to the weekend.  My husband will be out of town all weekend so I can relax and I will have the bed all to my self (except I still have to share it with the dogs).  I am having lunch with a friend on Saturday and going to my cousings Sunday afternoon.  Otherwise its just me and the 2 dogs and the 2 cats.
