Good Thursday Morning Everyone!
Happy Friday Eve. Only one more day until it is Friday. Then we have a weekend to play. Yes!
I just got an email from a former co worker/friend who will be in the area over the weekend and we are going to meet for lunch. It will be good to see her.
Has anyone heard from Omar? I hope he is doing ok post op. Hopefully he will be popping on here soon. It is good to see our other new post ops appearing regularly and we have a few getting ready for surgery. Always an exciting time! Dawn, glad you are recovering as well. Sorry it is so slow. Lucy, hugs to you. I am glad the pain is easing some. Broken bones hurt like he**
Today's appointment at the doctor's office did not bring much resolution for me and also not much good news. I have to have more tests before the doctor decides what to do but they say surgery is the last thing they want to do and then in the next breath, they are talking about surgery. I guess my neck is that bad. The doctor said on the way out "You're MRI is not pretty at all. " I laughed and said you should see my knee. I guess I have a lot of damage in my spine from multiple issues. What fun. They told me the migraines are a side effect of the pain. DUH. I have had a continuous migraine for over a month. Just hope I can get a resolution soon.
I don't know when I will get my tests done. I have to go to Peoria for them. I just hope I have a job when this is all said and done. I have no sick leave or vacation left and only 28 days of FMLA until July. Oh and did I say I am supposed to avoid stress as it adds to the pain? 
Anyone want to support me and my cats?
Well I hope everyone has a good day! It is supposed to be nice weather this weekend so I am looking forward to that.

Yay!!! Only one more day till temporary freedom. If I haven't mentioned it before I really don't like my job. I would love to find another but with the economy the way it is I figure I better stay where I am.
Yesterday a friend of mine was soooo upset about some up coming changes in my department she was crying. I was trying to calm her down. This place is not worth crying over.
Nancy- I really hope things work out for you. We had a girl here that used up her FMLA...so they let her go. Talking about kicking a person when they're down. Well at least you would be able to get unemployment or possibly disability. I will be sending some good luck vibes your way.
Omar- where are you??? I hope your healing fast.
Well I hope you have some outside plans this weekend it supposed to be nice outside. Have a nice day.

I am finally in Onederland - thought I'd never cross over. LOL I"m flying to Norfolk tomorrow for work, keep me in your prayers. First plane trip since surgery, hopefully I can ditch that extender belt.

I am also glad its Thursday, heading for the weekend.I have to work today, then a 3 day weekend. Next week we are off Wed. for Veterens Day.
Friday I intend to clean, then truck to Bloomington for Sat. and backto the house on Sunday. Debating if I want to paint the living room/ rec room before I hang new drapes.
I hope everyone isfeeling better, no one else is getting sick, and our members who are looking forward to the loser bench, take it one day at a time. You will make it.

Hope everyone will have a super sunny day...and actually a few days! yeah sun. Not much going on right now, which I guess is a good thing. This weekend will be SURGERY CENTER! Getting ready, packing a few things, etc. Getting my mind ready for this journey! I've lost 13 lbs on the pre op diet, so that has been a huge incentive...figure I've got nowhere to go but DOWN...DOWN....DOWN!!

Today is going to be mostly relaxing...aside from going with my daughter to have her senior pictures taken. We're hoping to get some good shots outside. I'm doing okay on this pre-op diet so far. It's day three and I can say that I'm feeling much better and I know I've already lost weight. I really do enjoy those evening meals of protein and veggie and I'm learning to live with everything else. My energy feels a little better today which is good. I just keep looking forward to the goal I have for myself and know that this is all worth it!
Nancy - I really do hope that you get some relief soon...I am praying for you.
Georgie - I'll be in the same situation you are this time next week. I'm praying that you have a speedy recovery!
Lisa - It was nice meeting you last night. I think the support group went well and I hope I can contribute a little more next time!
Sheri - Thanks again for having the groups!!
