Wednesday Roll Call

Lisa, here's wishing you a VERY quick two weeks at work, hope it gets better after that!
Dawn, Omar, Lucy, hope you are all continuing to recover and feel better!
I had an endoscopy yesterday. No ulcer, but I do have a mild stricture. They dilated it and now I can at least drink my shakes without pain. I have to go back for another endoscopy in two weeks. In the meantime, they put me on Zegerid, which is Prilosec + sodium bicarb (like baking soda). I have to mix it with water and take it twice a day. It is absolutely disgusting! I'll be holding my nose and gulping it as quickly as my pouch will allow! I hope I don't have to be on this for too long. Has anyone taken a pill form of this medication?
I've been pretty down lately. Today I've spend the morning resting and vegging out. I'm going to jump up NOW and get dressed and go for a walk and try to stop feeling like "poor me"!

It was a great support group last night. I am looking forward to the one tonight. I am dog sitting again until Monday, so it will be a long weekend.
I think I am finally back on track, I have lost 2 pounds so far this week and it is only Wednesday. Even after what I ate yesterday and let me just say it was not good at all. This now gives me a renewed sense of hope and I can see the future now.
Better go, I am leaving work in an hour and I have to get some more things done.

Hello Everybody -
Not too much going on. Just trying to hold on. Things are really slow at Mimi's and Outback is cutting hours too. I don't know what to do other then just keep chuggin along and hope that things get financially better.
I had my three year check up last week w/ my surgeon and he did the annual blood work. My Farriten, Vit D and B12 are still low. They told me to take Ferretts 1 or 2 tablets by mouth each day. Does anyone take Ferretts? I've never even heard of it. I'm going to support group tomorrow night so I'll talk to Barb the nurse then.

Hey everybody. I am a bit distracted today.
My drain incision has healed wrong and a big portion of it is outside even though it is healed across. I go to the surgeon monday so he can cut it open and stitch it together so that it heals the right way.
I asked how common this is and they said it is rare.. gee thanks. Ive been telling them for weeks that it doesnt seem right to me and they didnt listen :\ I am really not looking forward to getting cut open and am stressing about this.
They also told me I shouldnt do the bowflex for another two weeks which really has me bummed because I havent lost any weight in over a week now.
I guess I will just have to deal with it. :\
