Tueday Roll Call

Hello everyone

I'm angry this morning.  I work in a big corporate building, with many different companies.  We have a huge parking lot.  Well, we have been having issues with people driving like race car drivers through the parking lot.  What building management has been doing is publishing people's car description with the plate # and warning them that they will contact the police next time.  This morning I came into work and opened my email...and there's my car's description and plate#!!!!  I can't believe some &*%$# reported me.  What makes things worse is I don't drive fast in the parking lot and I have been accused any way.  When they talk to me they aren't going to believe me because I'm sure everyone denies driving fast.  So now I'm pissed.  My boss and everyone will read this email and think bad things about me.  Also, do you know how many people in our parking lot alone have Toyota Corollas.  They probably got me mixed up with someone else.  Ooooo...I'm so angry I can't concentrate.

See you guys later...have a nice day.  I will try.

Hi Crystal. I am sorry about your being reported. I don't understand how this could happen! Hugs coming your way!!!

I'd like to type a lot more but it is very hard for me.

Hugs and love to everyone - new post-ops, waiting pre-ops and those of us in pain.

I was at the ortho doc for 3 hours - l had a long wait to see him then long wait at occupational theerapy to have my removable cast made. I cried so hard waiting for my cast. I have to wear it for 6 weeks, off to shower only. Starting occupational therapy today for my fingers and for assistive devices at home. I am alone so it is very hard for me to cope. Work is so busy but I can't do a lot of things. I need hugs and prayers from my OH friends!!

Stay warm and safe everyone!

Hugs and love,
Lucy

Oh Lucy...I hope the pain has been less.  I have had broken bones before and that pain is like nothing else.  I live alone too.  It's surprising what you have trouble doing.  I couldn't open cans or jars.  It was hard getting dressed, or doing my hair.  The one thing I can tell you is that at the end of 6 weeks you will be an expert at doing things one handed.  I hope you feel better very soon.

Lucy,

I am so sorry that you are having to go through this. I hope that it starts to feel better soon and that you have more mobility. :( Did they at least give you meds for the pain?

Good morning IL

Crystal, I'm so sorry about your parking lot problem.  If you feel it would help, you might go to whomever in charge and just say what you said..."I know everyone prbly denies that they were speeding, but I feel so strongly about this, I just want you to know, I was NOT speeding"  I can't change that someone reported my car, but I do know there are a lot of similar corolla's in the parking lot.  If I had done it, I would take the warning and change, but I just want you to know, I did not speed."  It may help a little and might make you feel better.  Hope your day gets better!

Lucy, hugs to you I can't even imagine how frustrated you must be.  Do you have a friend that maybe could set things up and help you out a little?  I live alone, too, and know how "independent' we singles can be!  Will keep a prayer going for relief of your pain.

To the rest of IL, hope your day is super.  Omar, hope you are recovering well from your surgery.

So this is what morning looks like.  Not to sure I like it.  Maybe I will take my rollator for a short walk.

I once contracted for a company that set up one of those giant LED things with a camera that says how fast you are going.  If it caught you three times you could not bring that car anymore.  The company was such a pain that everyone really wanted to speed when leaving.

So you have been forgiven?

Good morning Crystal and Illinois!

Crystal how terrible that someone reported you for speeding when you didn't do it.
(((((Lucy))))) I hope your wrist will be feeling better soon.

I'm going to watch my grandchildren this morning so my daughter can run a few errands alone. Not much else on the agenda except the gym tonight.

Hope you all have a great day!
Carol

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

Sorry to hear of your report Crystal, but go with the advise you have been given and talk to your management about this.  It might help.

Lucy---I am sending big hugs your way.  I have never broken a bone in an arm or leg, but I am sure it is horrible.  One thing that I have learned since this last surgery......friends are very willing to help if you just tell them what you need.

I am feeling pretty good today.  I actually slept in bed last night!  That is a step in the right direction, for sure (I have been in the recliner since coming home).  I am still sore but it is getting better.  Keeping my fingers crossed that things keep heading in a positive direction.

If I am feeling better, next Monday night I have a chance to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra in Madison with friends and I really want to go.  Wish me luck and keep the positive energy flowing!

I am hopeing for good words from Omar and thinking of all of you.

Have a lovely day!

Tell someone that you love them!
