Good morning All!

Boy, we are late today....I really don't like this time, but it WAS lighter this A.M when I left for work, however that means it'll be DARKER when I head home!

Sun out right now, and liking that.

Nancy, hope you feel better and the Dr. can do something for you.

Carol, your little Hayden is so cute

Omar, hang in there!

Connie, sounds like you are knitting up a storm!  Don't have that talent, myself!

Good vibes to the rest of your posters as you hit the board.  Have a great day.  georgie

In another week it will be your turn...woohoo!
I'm not liking the time change either...it will be dark when I'm going to the gym and even darker when I'm done.

Good Morning Carol and Illinois,

I hope everyone had a great weekend.

My thoughts and prayer are with Omar and the surgical team today.

Carol my mom and I normally buy the same cards.

Lucy-I'm so sorry to hear of your fall.  Prayers your way for a speedy recovery.

Randy-What a beautiful prayer yesterday.  You touch so many.  God's Blessings to you.

Nancy-Hope your migraine goes away soon.

Crystal H-Hope your doing well.  Take your time chewing.

Georgie-1 week down.  How are you doing on your protein?

Hoping everyone else is doing well.

I decide to join Wildtree products,  I'm now a rep for them.  It was like Christmas for me friday when I received my box of samples.  It's so exciting.  I think this is the right company for me.  Since I started a healthier me, this fits right in with products that have to MSG, additives and no food coloring.  Please pray for me that I will get this off the ground.

What a busy week I have coming up.  I'll be at my sisters house again for a few days.  I'm watching her son tonight, tomorrow is Sheri's support meeting, Wednesday is my 1st month post op class. and Thursday is my first fill.  Getting a little nervous about the fill.  I haven't had any problems with food so far.  Hoping after the fill I will be ok, I have my mom's and sister birthday celebration on Saturday at a restaurant.

If any one would like to car pool to Joliet support meeting let me know.

Wishing everyone a day filled with love and happiness.

Deanna, think I'm coming ok on my pre op diet.  Drinking the Atkins shakes - NOT a big fan!  Enjoy that protein in the evening, that's for sure!

I am kinda hungry , but just keeping focused.  Good luck on your fill, let me know how it goes and how you are feeling.  The restaurant on Saturdy - don't push yourself.  Eat before you go and have a drink!  geo

Georgie,

Drink lots of water.  Drinking lots of water helped me pre-op not to be hungry.  When ever I thought about food, I drank water.  Atkins we not my favorite either.

Thanks for the advise for Saturday, I'm not going to be able to eat before.  It's going to be a sit down meal.  Not everyone in my family know I had surgery, so I need to act as normal as possible.

I've always been a big "drinker"  LOL, but pop and tea.  The crystal lite packets have been a godsend and decaffeinated tea are saving me!

RE:  Saturday, then just take some food and move it around your plate, (mixed with some stuff maybe you can have!)  You don't want a stuck episode to happen while you're out, and you're newly (firstly) filled!  Good luck....Also, have read alot about when we are out eating with people it's easy to get caught up in eating too fast, don't do that!  geo

 Georgie

I found that hot tea or clear bouillion really hit the spot when I was hungry on my preop diet.  It seemed to take the edge off.  You might give it a try.  I was surprised with the tea.

Thanks, Nancy.  I'll give some hot tea a try.  I get kinda munchy feeling at work, so I could easily fix some tea!
