Sunday Roll Call

Good morning IL family.

I am up at 3 am ish... as I can't sleep due to the severe pain, I got an ice pak on. I fell yesterday morning and fractured my left wrist. Got a partial hard cast and wearing a sling. Lots of swelling too.

Typing, dressing, opening things is quite a challenge. Just when I was getting better, this had to happen.

I'll be staying in today.

I had my furnace cleaned and found out that it needs to be replaced as it is dangerous. When it starts, the flames shoot out and spread plus several cracks as well. Going to cost me $2,000.00. I will have to do it this week, Danger is a possible fire. I will not have the heat on at night and when I am not home.

Well, need to rest and can't type anymore.

Have a great Sunday!

Hugs,
Lucy

I believe it is said that Job was returned to a life of prosperity when he prayed for his friends,  In remembering that I am trying to keep in mind and bring to paper those who are posting and those who are overwhelmed with their fate at this time so they do not post.  Our friend whose Dad has cancer and her son is autistic is often on my mind,  Our friend down south who was treated badly through OH but not in the forums.  Those who are so busy with work and family they do not have time to post.

Lucy, Dawn and Nancy are posting but have there pains and daily troubles.  Paul is getting on course but has two businesses he needs to earn a living from.  Many of us need to get on track with our docs and our weight loss.  We battle against food addiction and other addictions that are legal but not optimum for our health and our weight loss.

Several of us have family in problems or family illnesses or relationship difficulties.  Some are in odd moods from various hormonal things were our surgeries are involved.

So these things I ponder in my heart and contemplate what God can do and what God's people can do for these,  I turn their needs to God's face in prayer but do not shrug off by doing so that at some point there might be something in a less spiritual plane that I should do and so I pray that at the times the whispers come I might be sensitive to the voice of God and to the individuals.

I pray in Jesus name as I believe we are taught but without judgment while also praying in his name that God and all men might be reconciled.

And so Amen but my prayer continues at all times.

Randy,

Thank you so much for the lovely prayer that we all seem to need.  Thank you for taking the time out to say such lovely words.

Amen!

Good Morning Lucy and Illinois,

Lucy I am so sorry to hear about your pain.  But they do say God only gives us as much as we can handle.  But sometimes it does seem unfair.  I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Today I have lunch with my friend and then home to cook, clean and laundry.  My husband wants me homemade chilli.  So I have to go to the store and get the necessities.

I hope everyone has a good day and stays warm.

Good morning everybody,

Last day of prep over here for us. I need to take down the Halloween decorations, double check my bag for tomorrow and finally just enjoy the day with my family and football. I am excited and nervous about tomorrow but I keep reminding myself of all the positive things that will come from this surgery. Need to stay positive so that I can breeze through the healing.

Lucy - I am so sorry about your accident and I hope tonight grants you a full night of rest.

Randy - That weight ticker is just flying.... Awesome.

Thanks
Omar

My prayers go with you Omar.

I had to change the batteries in my scales this morning so naturally my weight loss shows a stop now.

I have also not taken my furosemide for two days so that will change once I take them.
