Flu/Sore throat--What to take.

Morning Everyone,

I am home today with a slight temperature and a bad sore throat.  I am not nauseous or anything, just very achy and my head is pounding.  I know that due to the gastric bypass I am limited in the type of medication that I can take....what does everyone take when they are sick?  

I had my surgery Jan 2009 and haven't been sick since surgery...so I am taking some Tylenol products...but just wondering what others have used to get better.

Sorry you're feeling under the weather.  I know this is not going to help you but I only take Tylenol.

If in dought, call your surgeons office.
