I don't have any advice, because I have the Band. I just wanted to welcome you and hope that you come on here daily so we can get to know you. There are a lot of years of experience here to help you. We talk about everything not just weight loss. Everyone here has always been very helpful and supportive.

Welcome!
I am 18 months out from my RNY and like you, I can eat almost anything without dumping. It has it's good sides and bad sides. The only advice I can give you is use this time well to develop new habits and try not to let those bad eating habits back in. Just because you can eat it doesn't mean you should. I am struggling as I am seeing some bad habits rearing their heads. I do have a few foods that do not like me such as pasta and greasy foods and for that I am thankful.
I am in the process of looking for a psychologist or psychiatrist that specializes in eating disorders as I realize it is more complicated for me than I realized. It is not just the quantity of what I eat.

Thank you for the welcome. We do seem to have simliar food problems. However, I don't have problems with pasta, and can eat most fried and greasy foods. But I have noticed that I'm having some difficulty with chicken and red meat.
I think my body is telling me to stop pushing it. I can only laugh because my boyfriend and some of my co-workers are picking up weight from eating the portions of food I can no longer eat.

I'm so glad it is Saturday! I've been staying at my mom's for the last few days and will be happy to see my daughter and husband this afternoon.
I'm continuing to feel a little better each day. Still moving slowly, but I'm not having nearly as much trouble drinking and eating appropriate things. Got 50 g of protein and 48 oz water in yesterday, so that's improving.
Sounds like everyone has nice plans for today. I'm hoping to do more walking to get my strength up!

Looks like I should have a rollator by Friday. Went out and tried one on. It was a jr and too short standing up but the seat was the right size. I drove myself. Went and got a haircut. Sherry was at Harvest so I went back and visited Willow folks for a couple of hours. There was a Group Life conferance and it was fun watching the Harvest folks get 400 meals out in a short time frame. Had a bite of pulled pork with no sauce and few bites of grilled chicken breast.

I am finally getting on here to post. I stayed up way too late last night and then ended up sleeping until 1 pm today. I have been tired so I guess I really needed it. My outside cats were starving when I finally made it outside to feed them. They were all over me when I went outside . They had pulled out all the empty cans out of the garbage and everything! Now I am trying to work up motivation to go to the laundromat and do a ton of clothes. Such fun .... NOT. Have a good day!
