Good morning Illinois!

I guess it is good that I get to start today, since I will be out for a while.

I am working this morning, on clear liquids then home for the bowel prep.  I am also waiting for the schedulers to call today with an actual surgery time.  The doctor and nurse seemed to think it would be first case (and possibly only case) due to the time involved.  I am looking forward to being on the other side of this surgery and REALLY looking forward to being healed and "fixed"!

I wish to thank you all for all of your support, prayers, mojo, good vibes, etc......  It really means a lot to me.

Paul will post updates as he gets them from David.  Lets hope David is prompt.  Amber will also be posting to my Facebook wall for those of you who have Facebook.

I am also going to stop at the library for more books on CD to listen to when I am not sleeping.

Thanks again and everyone stay safe, happy and warm!

Tell someone that you love them!

Good morning Dawn and IL friends.

I want to wish you the very best tomorrow and will keep you in my prayers. This has been a long time coming, and I'm sure that you will feel so much better in time.

Thanks for having someone keep us posted on your condition.

I'm doing better day by day. I am making better food choices too, I know it's not going to be easy but as everyone says, one step at a time. All I can say is that once you are off track for a long time, it is very difficult to stay focused. But, I want this so bad. I have so many beautiful clothes, etc.. and miss wearing them. I was so happy two years ago.

I'm enjoying a cup of hot tea - cinammon apple. It tastes so good.

Hoping our new post-ops are doing well. Keep on track is my motto for today!

Take care and stay safe and warm.

Hugs,
Lucy

Dear Lucy:

I KNOW you can do it.  You did it before.  Take one of your favorite outfits out of the closet and hang it where you can see it every day.  Let it be your motivation to make good choices.

Thank you for the good thoughts.

Hi Dawn,

My thoughts and prayers will be with you.  Glad to know that we will get updates so we can keep track of you.  We'll  miss your posts until your return.  Just remember to take it easy and give yourself time to heal.!

Lucy, you've had a bad time.  Hope you are starting to feel better.  I like Dawn's idea about hanging an outfit where you can see it.  You also can post some fave pics on your fridge to help you focus.

Not much happening in my neck of the woods.  Meeting some friends I haven't seen for quite awhile for dinner tonight.

Everyone have a super day.  georgie

Good morning Dawn and Illinois!

Dawn my prayers will be with you tomorrow during surgery. I wish for you an uneventful surgery and a quick recovery.

Not much on the agenda today...the gym is calling me.....the scale is not my friend right now. For whatever reason my body does not want to shed the pounds. Once again I'm fighting the same two-three pounds.
It is just so frustrating, Lucy I feel your pain about that issue.

Hope everyone has a great day!
Carol

GM Dawn and IL,

Lord, see into Dawn's heart this morning and give her all she needs to be  the best she can be through her surgery and recovery.  Be with her family Lord and may they learn to love her even more through this time.  Guide the minds and hands of all of the hospital folks as they care for her and may she be a blessing to them as she is to us.

In Jesus name we pray,

Amen

Randy

So you have been forgiven?

Good Morning Dawn and Illinois Friends!

Dawn, I am sure you are a little nervous today, but excited about getting "fixed"!  Just think, your problems are soon going to be over.  6 weeks off sounds like heaven to me.  Enjoy it and milk it for all it is worth, after all, you don't get this opportunity too often.    I will keep you in my prayers for a successful procedure and a speedy recovery.

For me, it is work today and then I leave early for a Doctors appointment.  I am anxious to see what he has to say.  My body is showing that I am low in sodium   and have been this way for awhile.  I guess he thinks it is time to do something about it.  Usually they tell you to watch the salt.  I can't win.  I also hope they have an appointment scheduled with the neurosurgeon.  My numbness is getting worse.  This is not going away on its own.  I am doing everything I know to help my symptoms, but they are not working.  I still get the migraines and the numbness.  So hopefully I will get some answers today.

It was strange working until 7pm last night.  I haven't done that for several years.  The big difference is when I left we still had a crew that was staying until 10pm.  7pm used to be closing, so it was weird leaving and still having people there.  I can't imagine working until 10 at night!

Got to scoot to work.  Hope everyone has a great day.  Dawn, good luck tomorrow!
