Wednesday Roll Call

Good Morning Everyone,
Well 2 down and 3 to go.  Hope today goes fast.  I have a busy week and weekend ahead.  I have a board meeting Thursday evening, I get a massage Friday evening, I am going to miss Pauls get together afterall.  Since it is sweetest day my husband wants to spend the day antiquing together.  Then Sunday I have to take a girl in my reenacting unit to look for a 1940's style dress. 

Hope the day finds everyone feeling good.  Including you Lucy, I hope you were able to sleep better.

Hello everyone

Well another day, another dollar.  I'm at work.  It's really quiet, as I'm the only one here.  In my area the rain that is falling is rain/ice mixture and I thought wow winter is coming very soon.  I have a doctor appointment today at 1pm (my yearly gyno).  So I will be going on my lunch.  I don't want to have to make up any time or lose any overtime.  So I scheduled it around lunch time.  

The week is half done and then it will be the weekend.  I can't wait.  I will drive down to Champaign to see my daughter and celebrate her birthday.  I will be taking her out shopping as a present.  This week is just taking forever. 

Well I hope everyone is doing well.  I'm happy to see Dawn will be getting her surgery soon.   I hope Lucy will find some relief.  I hope all our newbies are healing well.

Good news to hear that you are going to see your daughter this weekend. YAY!! I bet your excited. Hope your doctors appointment goes well.

I'm at work too, since around 5 this morning. It's quiet here too. I like that.

Good Morning to all my IL friends!

I hope all the new post ops are doing awesome and feeling better every day!
Lucy I hope your knee pain gets relieved sometime soon, being in pain stinks!!

Life around here is interesting to say the least.  It's not horrible, but it's not good either.  I am honestly not sure where my marriage is headed, but if something doesn't happen soon, it won't be good either.  I won't really be able to talk about it on Saturday though cuz Mike will be with me.  It's just frustrating for me.

I start school at Everest College on Monday, I have orientation tomorrow morning. I am actually kinda nervous, it's been a very long time since I've been in a classroom setting.  I will be going from 9-2 Mon thru Thursday.
Saturday is a football game for Tyler and then Paul's party!!
Sunday I am going to a job fair for Pet Supplies Plus that is opening up here in North Aurora.  I already had a preliminary interview and it seems that I will be hired, but who knows.  It would be part time nights and weekends, around school.  It will keep me super busy along with the kids, but it's something I have got to do.

Just a quick check in.  Hope you all have a super day and all the sugery people are doing well!  I won't be able to make the get together this weekend, but hope to be able to meet all of you another time! 

Gotta get busy since I wasn't at work yesterday.  It's payroll time. 

Would someone tell me when we moved into Seattle weather????  (rain, rain rain, a little sun, rain, rain rain????)  geo

Morning to all but not good for me. Good thing that this is cyberspace so you do not catch what I have. I woke up with a cold and then I started feeling queasy after being up for about 15 minutes. I thought I must be hungry because I get nauseous when I am over hungry - nope not this time. I could barely keep my scrambled egg down. I had to come into work because one of my co-workers has to be with her mom who is very ill in the hospital and the other girl does not get in until noon. I am planning on going home then. Also I sure hope I am better tomorrow because I have a meeting at 1pm and I am the secretary for the group.

I need to get moving and finish my work that is left over from the weekend. Dave and I were hoping to come on Saturday but I am unsure at this point. We will see if this is just the 24 hr type or longer. This is not like me to get the flu, I rarely even get colds. Sure glad I got the flu shot so hopefully this will not be severe.

Christine----so sorry to hear that you are not feeling well.  I hope it is a mild case and not the terrible stuff that is going around.  I hope you have some way of containing your germs at work so they do not spread.  Knowing you, I am sure that you do.

After work today, I will be taking David to the neighboring town to work on his wreath sales.  It is that time of year again.  We got the nicest compliment the other day from one of his customers----she emailed me the day after he had visited her for her order-----she just wanted to let us know what a "fine young man David is.  You and Todd must be very proud parents."  It brought tears to my eyes!  It is always great to hear GOOD things about your kids!

Tomorrow is our anniversary, but I have a drama club meeting and Todd has Scouts.  Friday, I go up for my pre-op testing and we all have some sort of things planned for Friday night.  Saturday, I am hoping to bring the grandkids to Paul's.  Maybe Sunday we can rest and celebrate our anniversary.......

Thank you all for the good wishes about my surgery.  I am not looking forward to the recovery, but I will be SO much happier once I am healed.

 Good Morning Sherri and Illinois friends

I have already been to my ortho doctor this morning and now am getting ready to leave for work.  Surgery is scheduled for Dec 1 and I cant wait!  Everything looks like it is going to be problem free.  Got my insurance approval today so that is not a hang up.  

I hope our new losers are doing great.  They sound more active than I was.  Wonderful!  Steph, my thoughts and prayers are with you today.  

Lucy, I sure hope that knee gets straightened out soon.  I can so relate to the pain.

I am sad to see so many are not able to come to Paul's.  I was really looking forward to meeting you.  Next time for sure!  I still am looking forward to seeing everyone else!
