Sunday Roll Call
Good chilly willy morning to you all from Milwaukee. We are having a blast as we usually do. Exploring on foot and seeing the sites. We toured the Pabst mansion yesterday, got caught up in the foot traffic of a marathon that originated out of Marquette University, did a lot more walking, had German food and went to mass at the cathedral. Today we are heading out for lunch on a lake front tour boat. Afterwards we will do more walking while I get pictures of the sites. The Fonz (from Happy Days) statue is just a short 1/2 mile walk from us.
Glad to see that some of our new loosers are checking; they are about to embark on the ride of their lives. What is going on in all of your worlds?

How fun to be in Milwaukee, sightseeing!
I am bracing myself for a cold day outdoors with the kiddos at a pumpkin patch. I wonder if I can create a suit with a hot chocolate lining so that I can bob along in the warmth of the hot chocolate and take yummy sips as the day progresses?
Have a good day everyone! Kettle corn is calling my name!

Good Morning Christine, on this crisp October day.
I really think it is time to retire the summer clothes, and make sure your fall clothing is clean and ready to wear.
Today I have no plans. Just some laundry, and make dinner. I would like to work on my newest quilt, and possibly a new rug color combination. At least, that is the plan.
Yesterday, I drove into my driveway, andlooking at the yard, I saw robins, cardnials, a wookpecker, wrens and a blue jay. All looking for food. I stayed in the car until they all few away, a few minutes later. A few squirrels were looking for walnuts too.
Who is going to Pauls meet and greet next weekend? I am going, but DH can't get off work. He has someone on vacation.
Have a great day!
Hugs, LISA

Good Morning Christine and everyone,
Christine, I just love Milwaukee, I am glad you are having a great time. The restaurant I was talking about is just around the corner from the Fonz statue.
Lisa,
I brought all of my winter clothes up from the basement, and inbetween everything I had to do yesterday I managed to do 5 loads of laundry and I have about 3 more for today before I leave for Indiana for a wedding. I never realized how many clothes I have, I am taking a bunch to goodwill that are too big and I still have 2 closets full of winter clothes.
I am glad that Deanna, Crystal H and Randy are doing good.
Nicolle, I love kettle corn also, and I found that Oriville Redenbocker makes a 100 calorie bag and it tastes really good.
Hope everyone has a great day and try and stay warm

Good morning Christine and Illinois!
I think I over did it yesterday. I only took 1 nap and was out and about (at least in the car) for a while. I took a walk yesterday and was only able to make it two blocks from home before I had to turn around and hobble back home in pain.. At that point it was pain from my drain, but mostly gas pain. I keep harping about the gas pain but it just seems like such an unfair pain since I thought my incisions would hurt more. Owell, it will go away eventually. The pain meds are a Godsend.
I started my vitamins today, multi so far and also have been doing the nexium. They gave me gelcaps and the insides are little beads so I wonder if they have enough time in me to really work. I really dont want an ulcer.
My mom came out to visit today and is helping clean the house, THANK GOODNESS! My husband is terrible at housework and we would live in a pig sty if it were up to him. My mom, hubby and son are going to the Touch A Truck event at St. Alexius today. That should be fun, I am kinda bummed that I am missing it, but.. next year! :)
I hope you all have a lovely day.

Good Morning Christine and Il,
I love Milwaukee, have tons of fun!
I hope everyone is enjoying this day. I'm looking for a coat...who..da thought it would come so quick. I'm happy that I have kickstarted my weight. After 100+ lbs i slowed down to a 3# loss last month and was like what ..lol... I added a little exercise and a change of a few foods. Changed the protein around a little ..of this and that.
Got a full day, church, events for my daughter and preparing for my birthday on Tuesday. Enjoy today!

Good afternoon Christine and Illinois Friends.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone at Paul's next weekend. I have been AWOL so much recently. I will be on a new schedule starting this week so hopefully I will be more faithful about checking in.
I was really busy yesterday. I started with an MRI in the morning. I kept falling asleep and moving so they kept having to repeat pictures. Finally gave up. My pharmacy forgot to give me all my meds including the won to use that I would not freak out during the MRI so I purposely went in tired thinking I would relax more. It worked == I relaxed too much
I may have to repeat the procedure. The pharmacist and I have now had a discussion on how critical it is that staff check for multiple bags when customers come in
I headed to the grocery store afterword and did my weekly shopping. Picked up the ingredients for pumpkin mousse to bring to Paul's,
Today I need to pay bills and go back to the drug store and pick up the rest of the meds that they did not give me. I wish I did not have to walk to the back of the store. It is always so difficult for me to get to the pharmacy so that makes me so much more upset. I cannot wait to get this other knee fixed!!!! I may swing by the mall and try to pick up a fall purse.
Not much else happening. Have a great rest of the weekend and a great week.
Christine, your trip sound like a lot of fun. Nicole, I love the idea of a suit filled with hot chocolate. Lisa, I feel I run a free cafe for all the neighborhood animals and even get lectures when I am late with food. I am sure I will get several lectures this week as dinner will now be an hour later than usual. It is really a riot to have a feral cat give you the riot act!
