Wednesday Roll Call
Hello everyone
I have a long day today. I've been at work for about 1 hour now and will be here till 6pm. Then after work I will be going to the Sheridan support group...I probably won't be home till 9:30-10pm. So I will be tired tomorrow.
Yesterday, I became suddenly dizzy and light-headed, also hot and sweaty. It happened right when it was time to go home. But when I was walking to my car I felt sooo weak. I felt that way for an hour or 2 and then I was fine. I just went home and rested and drank water and I was fine after awhile. I can't imagine what that was all about. Because I drink plenty of water. Hopefully that was a one time thing and won't happen again. If it does I have a fill appt on Friday and I will mention it to my doctor.
I can't wait till my fill appointment on Friday. Even though I have 8.3 ccs in my band I still can eat too much food (more than 4oz) and I feel hungry too soon after a meal. I'm getting so frustrated. This will be my 5th fill so I hope this one will be my magic one.
I also can't wait to see my daughter on 10-17. She texted me yesterday that she wished she was home with me baking cookies. Awww, she might be 22 but she's still my baby.
I hope Deanna and Crystal are doing well!!!
Well I hope everyone will have a nice day.
I went to see Dr. Guski on Monday. Everything is good. He did another flouro, to make sure everything was ok. Also said he will do my labs in Dec. I asked him for a recommendation for a plastics Dr. He told me that he was doing tummy tucks etc. I thought that was great since I trust him. I did gain a few lbs since August, but that wasn't any big deal either. When I went in for the unfill, I was dehydrated, so all I gained back was the water I lost. I am still down 6-8 1bs since June.
Today is work, then I am going to the support group meeting in Sheridan that Sheri has started.
I hope our 2 newest wls people are having a good experience in the hospital. The same goes to you Randy, on Friday. Welcome to the bench.
Dawn, be careful driving today to Madison.
Monica, I hope you feel better. It does sound like you have the flu.
BTW - It is Breast awarement month, get that Mammo you have been putting off. Also, schedule that Flu shot, or go to one of the many clinics.
Everyone have a great day, and stay safe, stay warm, and get healthy.
Well Randy tomorrow is your day! I bet you thought it would never get here. I wish you an uneventful surgery and a quick recovery! Remember to walk, sip and rest.
Not much on the agenda today...gym and maybe a trip to the grocery store.
Hope you all have a great day!
Randy, I wish you the very best as you cross the line into your new life. It's been a long time coming!
Hope Deanna and Crystal are doing well. Didn't see that Monica was under the weather.
One more day and a half in Reno. I am coming home Thursday evening and then back to work on Friday.
I was in a lot of pain yesterday. It's about the same this morning. I shouldn't have gone to the conference. Got an upgrade on the return flight but had to pay $$ and miles too. But it's worth it for the extra leg room.
Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Hugs,
Lucy

Life has been so busy but today I have some down time. Only working one job today and don't have to be there until 5:30 tonight. It gives me some "me" time and time to clean the house, cut the grass and work out w/ my trainer at 1.
Calvin and I are doing pretty good w/ our health... my sister on the other hand could use your prayers. She had breast cancer two years ago and had a mastectomy done on her left breast. She is now waiting for results on the right.. She is afraid she may now have it in the right. This has been such a roller coaster for her and as you all know.... waiting is the worse.
It breaks my heart that I can't be there to just hold her in my arms. She lives in AZ and financially I just can't make the trip right now. She's a tough girl but come on, enough is enough.
Take care everybody!

I have been MIA. This morning I overslept. I went to bed way to late and forgot to set the alarm.

I went to the Dr on Thursday due to swelling in my legs and the gave me some diuretics. I must have been really retaining fluids as I dropped 10 lbs in 5 days and I still have swelling in my legs.
I also asked my doctor about some pain I have been having in my arm. He got the brilliant idea to maneuver my neck because he expects herniated discs again. Well, that has left me with a VERY stiff neck and pain, and migraine. I could cheerfully strangle him.

Today I found out that my hours have permanently changed to 10 am - 6:30 pm. I really do not like working that late as I am more a morning person for work but .... have no choice.
I wonder what will happen tomorrow??? It is my 18 month checkup for my surgery. Hope all will go well there.
Enough complaining! Hope everyone is having a better week!
