Friday Roll Call
The President is set to touch down in Copenhagen soon and before noon our time today we will know if the party is to begin here,
For this old athelete this morning I am up for what I hope will be a short time. I had an ache in my left hip and in my right ankle. I think they were the beginning of cramos so I took a multi and a bit of water which seems to be working.
I hope the rest of you are getting refresging rest under the covers.

Last night I stayed in bed all night but woke up about on the hour. At least I didn't go downstairs to sleep in the recliner! My knee appears to be better than Wednesday after I got my last injection. I swear he must have hit it in the wrong spot!
Randy, your day is coming! YAY!! Your aches and pains will subside but you will get a new pain - sore butt!! As you lose weight and have less cushioning - it gets hard to sit for any length of time. LOL. I had to buy a seat cushion for myself.
Well, this weekend is going to be very busy for me. Tomorrow sister visiting time and packing for my trip to Reno. I'll be leaving on Sunday morning and returning on Thursday evening. It's a work related conference at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno. I rented a scooter so that I don't have to walk too much. I'll have long days and won't be able to cane it all day long.
Lots to finish at work today too.

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

For me it is work, and then the reenactment in Union tomorrow. I hope to see some of you there. If you come out to the railroad museum, I will be working in the canteen. I will be wearing a blue dress with pink trim. Introduce yourself to me.

Happy Friday!!! A cold wet Friday but who cares...it's Friday!!!
I have to admit I'm a little excited to find out if we are going to host the Olympics. I know so many are against it, but I find it exciting. I always watched the gymnastic part of the Olympics. I would run out in the yard and do flips, cartwheels and splits and dream of being in the Olympics. But the cheerleading was as far as I would go with my gymnastics.
I'm feeling all better, it was allergies. I haven't had my allergies act up like that in a very long time. I hope everyone else is feeling better too.
So I guess I better get going and work. Have a nice day

At anyrate, not sure if you guys seen my posting on the DS board. Now my Drs office was told that they would have to appeal the decison to have Lap DS vs Open DS.
I was told by the Rep that it could take up to 60 days for a decision. The Drs office stated it would take that long from her experiences.

I had the most amazing evening last night at the concert we went to. It was so much fun and I am beyond glad that we went.
I have 5 more days until surgery and I am getting to the point that I am making lists of everything that I need to bring, lists of what i need to remember to do after surgery, lists of just about everything. Today is my last day of work for 3 weeks and I am more excited about the time off than the actual surgery lol.

It is just after noon and I am disappointed that Chicago will not be hosting the Olympics. I was hoping they would get the bid. I would love to attend an event live. Sigh.
I am home today. I got grounded by my doctor yesterday. I am retaining a lot of fluid in my legs and one is pretty bad. I go for a doppler today to rule out a blood clot. I got an increase in diuretics and need to keep my legs elevated, hence the grounding.
So, things will be nice and quiet for me this weekend.
